F is for Finals / S is for Siblings

Finals week is fast approaching. I have a LOT to accomplish before then, and even more to accomplish DURING it.
Law is the big one. Comprehensive final, with 200+ case laws to memorize and be able to apply to real-life cases.
Accounting and Marketing will be easy A's. Non comprehensive, AND the material is all simple enough.
Statistics will be more difficult than Marketing and Accounting, but not as hard as law.
And of course, Western Civ is all about whether or not the professor likes my essay. >_<

Had a minor fight with my oldest youngest brother [he's graduating next year]. He's talking about ditching his college plans and going to the military.
BEFORE I GO ANY FURTHER: I support the military, I honor the miltary and I respect people that go into the military. It's an honorable and distinct position in our nation, and I am eternally grateful for the troops that protect our nation both in and out of the country.
But I don't want my brother joining. And I vocalized this. For one, he hates taking orders, and he hates doing physical labor and training. He'd never make it past boot camp. He's under some delusion that the military gives you milliions of dollars as paychecks and he'd live an easy life.
But he just got angry and said not everybody was born with my genius brain or my studious personality and that he's so sorry he's such a dissapointment to me. He rushed out of the house and went to his stepmother's home.
It hurt a little. I never meant that he'd EVER be a dissapointment in my eyes. I'd love him no matter what he ever chose to do. I just don't want to see him hurt, and I don't want to see him unhappy. And I've known my brother for a long time. I don't think he'd be happy there.
But in the end, we cannot control the will of man/womankind.
In the end, it's all about what people want to choose as their lifestyle.
And we can't control that. Ever.
And I think I accepted that today. More importantly, it helped me understand why I think we all get angry at our parents at some point in our lives. Because our parents have some lavish ideal of what we are supposed to be as adults. And when we stray from that path, they try to nudge us back on it, and it pisses us off.
More importantly, I also think I finally understand how my parents felt when I switched majors. It hurt them.
But it's my life [and it's my brother's life too], and we choose our own fate.
Luckily, I was able to snag him before I headed here to work. I apologized for my stated opinion and explained that whatever he wants to do, I'll support him no matter what.
Now if I can only just get my parents to come to the same conclusion and stop buying me stephacopes for my birthday. >___>

I have beta 2.0 for my Toradora/Taylor Swift AMV ready. It's completely full track wise, except for a small snippet of footage that I will need to mask out and do some work with.
Anybody that saw the first one, or anybody that wants to check out the full beta, just hit me up with a pm. I'd love detailed feedback, especially in terms of visual quality.

Our charity organization was featured in this month's xbox magazine. FOKYES @ GOOD PUBLICITY.
Plus, we've got Steve Weibie playing our Mario Marathon this summer. FOKYES @ GAMER CELEBRITIES
Things are going well with our organization. We missed our mark in our last Marathon [nobody apparently cares about Metriod] and only got a little over 10,000 for ACT Today, but our annual Susan G. Komen "Mother" marathoni s coming up, and it's usually our second best in terms of donations to the cause. Then of course the Summer Marathon [the week long one] is the big one.
