My goodness is it April already? Time, once again, is going by far too fast. And now there is about one month and change before the AX submission deadline. Usually when editing i'll go in a linear fashion. Start at the beginning and go from there. This project, I decided to take a "Testing Approach". Basically, any scene that I could finish quickly was done first. More effect intensive ones done Later. Few weeks ago, I look at my time line and thought I was way behind schedule. Now, it looks like I'm right on track. Hot shit.
Vid Progress: Imma put 40%. Still have some masking to do, but If I can get'r done in the next week or so, that gives me a month to do all the effects. Plenty o' time I think.

I can't believe how bad I fucked up at school this week. I was supposed to add a class that I was on the wait list for. But for whatever reason, it slipped my mind to ask for an add. The deadline has passed and now I'm in on the outside.
Fucking idiot move.
The only good thing that happened this week was the fact hat Blood+ is on Netflix instant streaming so I can re-watch that since its no longer on tv.
God, I can't believe I fucked that up, geez...
Vid progress: ...19%? Im making progress with masking, but Im strating to get to the point where I think my vid is the biggest peice of shit ever created and I would be foolish to submit it anywhere. That usuallly means im probably far along, but still...

School is back in session again. Haven't been to any sort of school for almost five years. Don't miss it one bit. Although I can't complain too much, I do live down the street from said school so I don't have to deal with parking, thank god. I really don't know how I'm going to go about this, I never wanted to go back, but I have no skills to pay the bills. I need to get my life in order before too long or I'm going to get screwed over really bad.

Snails pace at the moment, not happy at all. The self-imposed cut off date is April 20th (lol) giving me about two months before its Red Zone time. Masking is going to take up so much time and now I'm back in school,ugh... I guess i'm just gonna have to manage my time better and set aside blocks of hours to do my vid.

So I just finished Mass Effect 2. God that game is the Cats meow. Im not disappointed over Bioware streamlining the hell out of the RPG elements, pretty much making the game more of a shooter than an RPG. Big Deal. Although I do miss the random loot from the first one. Also seems easier to get the achievements this time around. All around good stuff though.

Starting to mask again, which makes up about 90% of the tedium. Im trying to use a few techniques to help make the whole process easier/faster, but ya still gotta sit on your ass for a few hours and do the damn thing. Hopefully by March I'll have made some definite progress. However, I have to start school soon and I imagine that will take up some time.

And so it begins. Well actually my new vid has been under construction for about a week already and a minute total has been completed. Im hopin to to push my limits in regards to effects and masking this time around around. Hopefully I can do my concept justice, that and get done in time for AX.
However, I already foresee a slight problem. The vid im working on is basically a four and half minute in-joke of sorts. Maybe not an injoke for it is chock full of references and I imagine most who watch will not identify them right away, if at all. Fuck it, go big or go home.
Vid Progress: 05%
First minute complete. Indexing VOBS should be done in a few days and after that the cleaning of the footage. I'm using around 16 sources. Not much compared to other videos but its a lot for me considering everything I have done so far has been usually with one source. Balls to the wall.
