Awesome Doujin

I was hanging in the IRC an hour or so ago with Rut, Pwolf, and some others, and Rut showed me this kickass Powerpuff Girls doujin. It's got characters from dozens of cartoons, including PPG, Dexter, Samurai Jack, Fairly Oddparents and Megas, all with a sick new design. This doujin ownz, and I recommend it to all cartoon lovers, especially CartoonNetwork-philes like me.

In other news, I watched Castle in the Sky earlier tonight, and it was good. James van der Beek wasn't the best voice for Pazu, imo, but other than that, I liked it. Totoro's still my favorite Ghibli film so far, though.
My sister finished her Furuba AMV several hours ago. She could do a better job if she did more work on it, but she told me she didn't want to work on it any more, so I started encoding it for her like she asked. It should be available for download some time tomorrow.

I just finished watching Fruits Basket! After having the DVDs sit on my dresser for months, I've finally gotten around to watching them. I'm so lame; I still haven't seen half of my DVDs...
Anyway, the other day, my younger sister asked me to show her how to make an AMV, so after choosing one of the songs from the new Weezer album, we decided Furuba would work best for the song. Unfortunately, neither of us had actually seen the series at that point, except for a couple of episodes and a bunch of AMVs. Thus, we started a two-day Furuba marathon, showing half the first day and half the second. Overall, I thought it was pretty good, though the last few episodes seemed to drag on and on. The dub was decent, except for a few misprounounced names, and it was a cute story.
Well, hopefully, her video will turn out pretty good. Later days, amvers!
