My dad's dad is sitting across from me right now lecturing me on what Oxford was like A REALLY LONG TIME AGO! There weren't even any girls in school! I am not going to Oxford, I am going to USC. And I'm a girl. How could any of his advice apply to me? I'm certainly not going to study physics either.
I can't look at his face either, 'cause there's always this pasty drool coming out of his mouth.
I know I should "respect my elders" and all that - but I really hate this guy! I like my mom's parents, but we haven't really spent much time with them since my mom died, and then my nana died in March, so now Grandaddy is the only one left.
My dad's mom is actually pretty cool too. But, I really hate my stepmom's parents and my dad's dad. Now he's talking to me about insurance. At least he's not trying to get me to be more religious, like my stepmom's parents. But then again, they don't drool.
Oh god, the drool is getting worse! Now he's making a vague reference to graph theory. And telling me I should have a good mathematical background. I took two higher level math classes last year. I have that down. Thanks. Plus, I HAVE to take math in college.
And now we're making vague references to wireless internet. Trust me, I know its ups and downs.
Yay! Break for dinner.
