A Few New Members Of My Family
2006-03-27 05:26:31
Well, I'm not much of a journal sort of person, but I've decided I'll give this one a try.
Today I got a few new members to my family. Firstly, my aunt gave birth to my first cousin, Jona, weighing in a 6pounds 1ounce. His name is Jonah, And unfortunately it may be some time before I get to meet him, they live in England see and I live in New Zealand, which is almost as far away as possible you could get. I've yet to even meet my uncle who is the father, but hopefully I'll meet him sometime soon.
Also, My mother announced to me and my brothers and sister that Her Boyfriend and his two children will be moving in with us (which makes quite a squeeze, 6 children and 2 adults).
My band played at the School Gala on Saturday. We've only been practicing together for a few weeks now and Considering I think we did rather well(although the stupid music teacher put my electric guitar through the PA, making it nearly impossible to hear me or my solo). At least we played all our own stuff, all the other bands played covers. Funnily enough, they got more applause, more people's attention and definetly more pluses to their popularity count than us. Oh where has the originality gone in society? How is it the copiers are doing better off than those (like me) who actually bother to write their own material. Even more annoying was that one of those bands that played the next day recorded a few songs and are now sending it away to some Producers. I personally hope they get rejected, but with the number of bands playing covers these days, I may see my dream of being a recording musician taken by some wannabes who play generic Metal written by other artists.
How am I going with my AMVs? Well, I'm well known to have around 7 projects going at any time, with maybe 1 making it all the way through (and hopefully it would be decent). I have one AMV that I will add tommorow, another KH one (Sigh, KH, I love it) featuring the song "The Ghost of You" By My Chemical Romance. The AMV is called "Never Coming Home", which many who have heard the song would know why I had chosen it. If you felt that No Bravery was even decent, boy, are you going to blown away by this. I personally think its 10x better than No Bravery, and It's actually been sitting on my computer for awhile now, I just need to remember to bring the blank cd to my dads so I can copy it and upload it here at my mum's (Dad has 56k, Mum has Broadband. You get the picture.)
Well, it's 10:30pm, I have some Japanese and Maths homework to do. So Long, Farewell, Arigatoo Sayoonara, And for those who speak basic English, Goodnight.
