    read this artical on MSNBC news. If you care about your service men and women like i do and agree that they should be allowed FAIR custudy trials when they return NOT while they are deployed, then pass this artical on so everyone can be outraged and yell at the judges that want to overturn FEDERAL laws on the matter. 
  • No gratitude from parents anymore... 2006-11-08 03:04:26 Well, I just bought my dad a truck because his broke down. The whole thing cost around $3750 and that's with a deal and it's still more than $1500 lower then blue book value. Well now he keeps trying to get me to take it back because it put us a little short (nothing we haven't had to deal with before) and won't stop about taking it back. Is it really that hard for someone to just accept something as a gift? I mean...yeah it might be a little embaressing to have your child buy you a vehicle but come on....if you need it you need it right? *sighs* why can't he just take it and not argue with me and shit....

  • Wal-Mart policies = racist? 2006-01-29 04:21:11 Well we all know how people say things like "Oh you won't do this because i'm black, hispanic etc etc) right? well try this scenario...

    I was at work today, I work at Wal-Mart (for the time being untill I go to basic) in the electronics section, and this lady wanted to buy a nice 27'' flat screen LCD TV. Well, fine with me i got the dolly and picked it up, and put it on to wheel it out. We get out to her car and i load it up for her to be nice since she did not look like she could do it herself. After I was done the lady, now in the drivers side of her car, offered me $10. For anyone that knows Wal-Mart, we are NOT allowed to accept ANY form of gratuidity. I told her that I was not allowed to accept because it was against the stores policies. Her responce was "That is bullshit! I know you can accept this shit everyone else does!" At that point i simply told her that they were breaking the rules and we can get fined or even fired for accepting gifts like tips etc etc. The next thing i know she was yelling "That's fucking bullshit! You just don't want my money cause i'm black!" she slammed her door before I could say anything else and drove off. Is it just me or is that racisim thing being a bit overused? I mean seriously...now and days people scream racisim now just to get their way...

    Oh well...on the plus side I didn't get fired for accepting it....rather be $10 poorer then loose my job over $10....
