I was planning on updating all my star ratings, cause I basically rushed them the first time round so I could download more videos at once. But I noticed you have to change each video rating one by one, by rating it and scrolling it all the way down, and clicking update ratings. I couldn't be fucked doing that to all 235 videos I downloaded.
On a lighter note, I just noticed myself in the Top 50 most opininated list. Wow after 3 years I'm still listed there.

Top 3 Digital Effects I NEVER wanna see again
2005-06-16 09:00:45
3. Unknown Name - I forget its name, but its the effect were it automatically multiply's the screen, showing the same clip 4 to 8 times all over the screen. This effect is so pointless, and there is really nothing you can do with it. I've seen it pop up in some videos now and then, and its use just ruins the video. The only use I can think of for this effect is if the lyric in the song says "You multiply 8 times in my mind", then it would be handy.
2. Strobe - This effect is just getting old, people are throwing this in all over the place. It's such a predictable effect, that when I'm watching a video, I put my hand up high and yell "strobe me! And to no surprise a strobe kicks in.
1. Cross fade to black - Well it isn't really an effect, but a technique. You just drag the cross fade on top of video A, and have nothing on video B, and then bingo! We have the cross fade to black. This is effect is used all over the place these days in videos. Weather it’s to match up constant guitar riffs, drums beats, or just to use filler between lyric match ups. Fading to black should be used wisely throughout the video, infact only used once or twice. A good example of this effect used properly is in 'Europhia' when the lyric goes "stop..." and the creator fades to black so perfectly.
I hope this entry has been educational to all.
In the mean time I just finished my Naruto music video using American rock music, I hope when I uploaded it tomorrow it can stand out with the other 10,000 naruto+rock music videos.

Hey now what you doing
Don't go down the road to ruin
Look back at where you came from
Count to ten before you go wrong
You have the brightest future
Making Anime Music Videos on your computer
But you couldn't walk the extra mile
And now your life is running wild
You've gotta hold your head up high
You know it's not too late to try
You've gotta lift that heavy load
You've gotta get back in control

A Message to all people who use the Naurato + Rock music combo
2005-06-15 23:49:50
Just because you mix-up Rock/Metal with Naruto doesn't mean your video actually ROCKS. It means your video is flat, boring, predictable, and is joins the other 10,000 videos that use the same formula.
