It's my birthday! It's my birthday! Happy happy joy joy!
Yeah, I'm trying really hard to see what's so darn happy about it.
I'm going to have to dig around here for happy/funny amvs to help make this day happy. If anyone (who happens to read this entry) has any suggestions, please let me know -- send me a p.message!
Now I'm off to have my drivers L. renewed. Nothing better than having this day sealed for 5 years as a new d.l. picture. >_< -

I received an email from someone who saw my Atobe video at Youtube. Apparently my video inspired her to do an AMV using the same song and part of the same concept and she wanted to know if it was okay with me if she did that.
I gave her permission. Of course I gave her permission! If only for the fact that she asked first! Heck, it's almost not needed - permission that is - because no matter if she used the same song and part of the same concept, she's using a different anime and therefore her video will be different from mine. But she asked first. In a community of free-for-all youngsters who wouldn't think twice about using work that isn't their own, I admire and respect this girl who took the time to ask.
Once her video is finished, I'm going to hand out the p.r. like a crazy mo-fo. If there's anything I'll promote, it's a person with manners! You go girl! I hope you do well. ^___^ -

Lol, Sub0! I don't mind at all that you couldn't remember Measure of Time. With all the videos that are out there, I'm not surprised. But I'm very happy that you like the FB video!
I really don't care for overly excessive ADD videos, but I don't mind seeing a flash or two of it in an AMV. I can understand the fun of making an ADD image video, but it's not as fun watching one. Things go by too fast to fully appreciate. But, as you've said, if people like them that's cool, but I prefer something less cluttered.
Nope, I haven't seen Angel's Egg, but now you've got me curious and I may just risk a coma to check it out. ~_^

q.c. for "Measure of Time": Moved too slowly
Hm, this must be a matter of personal taste, because I can't really see how this vid was too slow. Too long? I agree and have Sub0's opinion to back that problem. ^_^ Slower than one of the ADD type vids that have clips flying at you continually for the full duration of the song? Yes, I agree to that too. But TOO slow? It moved at a decent enough pace for me, but then again I'm an old fogey and moving slow comes with the territory. Also I think the song isn't one that bursts through in a mad rush, so I didn't feel the images should do that. Chicago's song is like riding in a fast car. Although the car is speeding along, the passenger's eased back in the bucket seat simply enjoying the ride. Ah, but that's only how I see it, and I do appreciate another's viewpoint. I wish you, Mystery QCer, would've explained more, because I can only suppose your view was a simply a matter of preference for fast-paced vids. Despite all that, I still appreciate that you took the time to comment. Thank you!
