Claim Your QC's----Episode 4
2007-05-10 11:03:52
The quest for names continues. I read the QC's, I ask for your identity, you give it to me. Fair trade, no?
Claimed QC's so far : 0.
"KILL THE LITTLE BUNNIES THAT RESIDE HER E IN THE SHIRE WHERE THEY WERE BORN AND RAISED KILLING EVERYTHING IN SIGHT! KILL! KILL! KILL! KILL THE BUNNIES! lolwut?"
I've got a hunch :O
"You nerd >_>"
Hmm, compliment or insult? Contact me so we can decide.
"This was pretty cute."
Thanks! I bet your name is cute. May I ask what it is?
"I should have known better than to download one of yours."
Of course, I have never received a signed insult QC.

As I scroll down...
2007-04-24 07:24:13
As I scroll down the winners, an empty feeling envelops me, as one category after another is swept by a video it seems was meant to rule all. When I get to the final, most important, org defining category, I do a double-take. Could it really be?
15 minutes later, composure regained, I realize there's a reason I've stuck around here :)

Loss, and stuff.
2007-03-11 13:31:57
Hey, how did I miss those entries? Man, I'm glad you're okay, Yeiweh. The story actually made me laugh pretty hard. Don't hit me :O
And Revbudadude, I'm sorry about your grandfather as well. And you know, I'm sure someone answered your original post, but you may just have missed it. With this journal system, that happens, as with both your's and Yeiweh's posts I missed.
I also feel terrible for Warheart, as I know how hard it is to come across good equipment, and a situation favorable for recording stuff. And a freak accident like that... But keep on fighting for it. Don't let something like that defeat you.
I guess I can join in on the fun by saying I killed 2 projects I started this week, one after the other. I started off real hyped at the possibilities, but they just wouldn't take shape, and for the first time in my editing career, I found myself in front of something I couldn't fix. I hate to compare this to an experience obviously way more traumatic, but it truly feels like losing an unborn child. You put a lot of love into it, but nothing comes out. And you just stare there, into nothingness. It's especially frustrating as it just confirms that I've reached a point with my software where I'm just not satisfied with it's capabilities anymore. At this point, I'm just punching breathing holes into the ceiling. And on a Mac, the only way up I know of is Final Cut, but even Express costs 300 dollars, which is a sum I don't have. This is where an alternative like Vegas would be very useful. Something fairly cheap, yet powerful enough to permit ambition on my part. Oh well, I'm not switching back to a PC, so I guess I'll get busy thinking how to raise the money...
