  • Feeling better. 2002-06-18 23:31:07 I've just been reading Spyral's Journal.

    Oh, boy that Godfather comment was hilarious. My Mom thought it was funny also.
    I would like to point out that I do love my brother. It's just we've had... problems in the past and now we are two stubborn people who don't agree on lots of things. But if he wasn't around I wouldn't have this (NOW LOVELY) computer and a DVD player for the computer(Which he needs to get that cable over here so I can actually use it), and other cool stuff.

    Ok, ok, Spy. No more juicy pens. My handwritting isn't THAT bad. ^,^

    If I was really evil I would write in cursive. *G*

    YES! I need a computer over there. Get to work! *L* ^.~

    Kazz, no bad mouthing me at AX for giving you a curse!
     
  • I'm not going to AX 2002-06-18 13:08:00 Well I talked to my Mom this morning.
    She said she wanted me here, while she recovers.
    She said she needs me.

    I feel obligated to stay, though I want to go.
    I hate having to tell Spyral and Kazz at the 11th hours (they said they going to get airline ticket today) that I'm not going, when I've been saying I was going.

    I should have talked to my Mom sooner about this. I did talk to her, but it was mainly saying that I was going and she didn't say anything about me staying.

    When she gets out of the hospital she will not be able to do much except walk to the bathroom and back. No lifting even light things. She will need my help and I'm the only one without a job or a kid that is family that can do it. Our neighbor who is like family, I know my Mom wouldn't want to ask her for more than general help, even though our neighbor would help as much as needed.

    I felt so sick when I decided to stay home. Not the kind of sick to my stomach I've had the last week (That was either a bug or food poisoning). I don't want to let anyone down. I want to go. I feel so bad telling Spyral and Kazz that I'm not. I feel so guilty.

    My Mom needs me and even though she said it was my choice if I went or not. When I told her I was staying she seemed so relived. She said my staying show how unselfish a person I am. But I want to be selfish, I want to go. Staying is the right thing to do... but I still feel bad.

    I'm sorry Spyral and Kazz. 
  • I can't sleep and my mind won't stop 2002-06-18 04:22:38 It's 1 o'clock and I can't sleep. Ussally this is fine because I don't try to go to sleep this early, but tonight I felt the need to get to sleep at a "reasonable" time.

    I put a note out for my Mom to wake me up so I can ask her if it's ok for me to leave on the 3rd for AX with Spyral and Kazz. She having the hysterectomy on the first and is going to be in the hospital for a couple of days and will need help for about a week after. I told her the con was from the 4 to the 7th and she said it was ok, because our neighbor could help her Thursday and Friday and the weekend is no problem. If I leave on the 3rd I may miss her coming home from the hospital AND she will have to get some one else to come over that other day too. *sigh* At the same time I don't want to take a plane by myself. I think Spyral and Kazz are staying after the last day, so I'll have to take the plane back by myself, but then at least I'll have someone there to pick me up from the airport. *sigh*

    Plus I still don't have a job and I have less than $30 dollars in the bank. I'm leeching off my parents and they have bills to pay. I don't exactly feel like a productive member of society right now. Or even like an adult that I'm suppose to be at this age.

    Someone mentioned in the con forum that they are going to have a party for AMV creators at Shoujocon. I sent off an e-mail to them asking for more info.

    I'm still get depressed sometimes (like now) when I think of the video we would have had for shoujocon if the HD hadn't died. I so wanted to see one of our videos shown at Shoujocon. It was a good video.
    I'll get to see two of our videos at AX and I'm happy about that, but still I wanted one at Shoujocon.

    Well I'm going to go play around in Paint Shop Pro. Maybe make a coupld more banners for the site.

    I just got my Dad a shirt that my Mom payed for. I need a job. *sigh*

    Here is a dilemma watch the end of Director's cut of Blade Runner, the beginning of Nero Wolfe, or Law and Order: Criminal Intent.
    Decided to watch Nero Wolfe, flipping back to Blade Runner during commericals. I'll see the L&O ep some other time.

    I need to get a hold of Spyral or Kazz to see if they got the videos for AX in the mail on time. I hope so.

    Still sad about the Shoujocon video. ;_;

    I don't feel stuff I keep on a computer is permanent. I've had a HD die on me a couple years ago, my computer use to freeze randamly, I've reinstalled Windows many time, and changed computer and HDs a few times. I guess not thinking its permanent is a good thing, make me back up stuff and save frequently. But now I don't want to take the time to put order to all the data on my computer.  
  • Heh heh 2002-06-15 17:38:14 My bro, sis-in-law, and my nephew came over. He is 6 months old today.
    We celebrated my sis-in-law b-day, which is later this week.
    My nephew (Who is so cute) threw-up on my brother TWICE. *snickers* That had me laughing for awhile. My brother wasn't happy. Heh heh. [I harbor no ill feeling for my brother. ();) ] *snicker*

    My brother got my big HD to see my little HD. Seems where I had it plugged in was on a separate cable so the little HD was either ignored or was fighting for dominance. Moving it to the same cable did the trick.

    Well I was telling my brother I was thinking about putting in the DVD player on the comp but couldn't find a cable to use (I've told him this before) he says "Well the SCSI cable is in the computer." I told him I can't find it. He looks and then says he must have took it out before he gave the computer to me.
    ......
    I TOLD HIM THAT it wasn't in there! Did he ever believe me? NOOOO!!!
    I'm still have a lot to learn about computer, but I think I could figure out that there is nothing in there to plug into the DVD player.
