Uh oh! Almost forgot it's almost dateline to settle traffic summon. And I didn't watch the news yesterday.
Tomorrow's gonna be a long day of queueing.

I wonder how people can chat using their Journal??? They really look into other peoples' Journal that frequent?(Wow!) Or maybe I'm an ignorant.

Right. From now on, I'm gonna review "bad" videos and re-consider my ratings
2002-04-28 13:38:56
Just noticed that my review for Ermac's soul of an angel had gone. Probably lost. Oh well, i'm not gonna re-review it and besides he already got over 90 ops.
Lately I find it's hard to unbias in reviewing my favourite artists AMVs. Always mentioning nice things and if theres anything bad in it I considered it as minor and sometimes didn't mention it at all. It gets harder to be objective once you started to like an artist and reviewed a lot of good AMVs. Perhaps I should review some more mediocre AMVs (I have a couple videos unreviewd as I didn't really enjoy them) and those created by new members. Personally, I think all and every reviewer should review their fair share of "bad" AMVs as it's a good practice to become an objective reviewer.
Remind myself of a new rating policy:
= 10 =
Absolutely perfect score. It has to be so well made and absolutely flawless. This is reserved for that once-in-a-lifetime AMV that absolutely blows me away with its perfection.
= 9 =
Very high score reserved for excellent videos. They need not be absolutely flawless, but should still be highly polished/technically well created.
= 7 to 8 =
Well above average. May not be as technically complex as some of the higher scores. These are still high scores though, and only well above average AMV deserve them.
= 6 =
Slightly better than average. An aspect need not be brilliantly done, or do anything incredible for the style. It could be for the kind that stick to a well-worn format or style.
= 5 =
Average. It need do nothing spectacular. May be let down by specific aspects, or just may really have nothing much to interest the reviewer or nothing groundbreaking. This is for the sort of aspect that can be quite overused/forgettable.
= 3 to 4 =
These ratings are starting to get into the area where it is not enjoyable to look. With things taken into account, if the bad aspects of a AMV tend really to outweigh the positive aspects, a rating in this area may be considered.
= 2 =
These are ratings for aspects that fall well short of what they were trying to achieve, and can be quite painful. Generally, AMV that deserve this kind of rating have very, very little to offer. These are the kind of AMV that may be created by a new artist with little or no editing background.
= 1 =
Generally, the artist would have to be aiming for a zero to get one. The aspect in the AMV would have to be intentionally bad. Even first attempts at editing generally do not deserve this rating.

GREAT! Just got a +1 rank ^^
Glad this site has gone back up. Perhaps u should do some 'cleaning' here Phade guy.
Did 2 reviews today. Rubyeye's Dark Legacy and ShonenP's EvaOpus remake.
EvaOpus was good, worth the download. But I think those who already had the first video should think twice. It doesn't contain very much improvement other than higher quality visual & a few re-edits.
Dark Legacy was excellent. Not perfect, but still an Excellent video. Read my review to find out why :)
