So, I got this Quick Comment on my latest video, "Who Knew"
"More terrible schlock from AMV.org! What a shocker! That seems to be all its known for these days. All you people care about now is video quality (awful HD resolution) and how many lame effects you can use. Pass this on, since you're just another one of the loser group which has tarnished this site."
It makes me laugh, because the person obviously didn't even watch the video. One, the video quality of it is really not that good at all, so how can you say all I care about is "video quality"? I THINK this person is TRYING to say that my HD resolution is awful (it is, I fully admit that), but they worded it in such a way that they don't get their point across at all.
Second, this person talks about the "lame effects" that I used. WHAT effects? I use iMovie, for crying out loud, that program HAS NO EFFECTS. About the only "effects" I used were fade-aways and some shots were in black and white to denote that they were in the past.
I enjoy doing these kind of AMVs because I try to tell a story using footage and song. I may not have the best quality video because iMovie sucks like that, but I think I make up for it with my editing. I don't use cheap video effects 1) because I can't and 2) because I'd rather let the footage tell the story. If this person had even bothered to watch the video, they might have noticed that fact.
Congratulations, Irate Internet Troll, you have just shown that you are a spite-filled loser who can't even own up to your own hatred for things you didn't even bother to watch. Remember, when you assume, you make an ass of u and me, but mostly you. -

I got this QC on "I Will Go Down With This Ship" the other day:
2007-05-12 14:46:22 Not bad. The scenes were a little disjointed and didn't make sense in parts. Didn't see that relationship in that anime.
(For those reading this who've not seen the video, it's a Magic Knight Rayearth video featuring Lantis/Eagle.)
My response was "REALLY?! How could you NOT see that relationship?" I mean, seriously. Hikaru even SAYS she thinks Eagle loves Lantis. (She might have asked him, actually... I don't remember exactly, it's been a year or so since I've seen it...) That's almost as bad as when a friend of mine thought Touya and Yukito in Cardcaptor Sakura were "just friends".
Of course, you also have to wonder why someone would download the video if they didn't get the pairing. *shrugs* Oh well, no big beef to me, as it's one of my older videos anyway and I can totally agree with the disjointed comment. Because it probably was.

I think I'm in heaven.
I finally found Eizou Hakusho, after searching long and hard for it. i could practically start drooling.
Plus, some rare Yu Yu Hakusho character songs, like the Megumi Ogata version of the opening. *more drool* Yay for adoration!
Every so often, I have to reestablish my love for that series... :)
