New project

I have now begin a new project.. going by the title - The Struggle of One.
This will be a two AMV project. using the unforgiven and the unforgiven 2 by metallica and going to footage from Evangelion.
this project will focus on shinji and hiis struggles throughout the series...
I plan to set it up like this:
The unforgiven - Eps 1-13
The Unforgiven 2 - Eps 14-26...
on another note.. I found the problem with my domain, and should have it fixed soon..... After it's paid for... -
My new server woes...

I got my new webserver today (paid of course)...
500Mb of space with no limit on file size...
one problem tho.. I can't get the domian to re-direct to the proper page!!
It keeps on going to the main page of the server and not my page at all.. it's getting to be a bit of a pain... I really want to have this server Up tonight so that I can make my new video avaliable for download...
hopefully my dad and I can work our way through it..... -
my hate for slow ripping...

started ripping the final DVD of hellsing today for my new video... but I had major problems with the encoder :mad: the bloody thing didn't like the res, then it went and changed the aspect ratio to letterbox instead of full (GRRR).
then it goes and decides to take 5 hoursd to do the encode! And I so wanted to get onto working on the AMV since two days ago, but I needed the footage...
and after the thing ripped, I had to delete it all and start agian, changing the settings because I wasn't going to use eo video to re-encode my source footage... no way.. I'm not that stupid, I'll do it to the finished AMV, less quality loss...
but because of the slow rip I was sitting around for 7 hours, not able to use my computer at all, and because there was nothing going on I got sooo bored.
at any rate, I should have the new AMV finished tonight and then have it up in a few days.... -

Got off of Dinner shift, finally!
our kitchen hand wasn't in and the chef and I got swamped with people!
And agian, I got into trouble for something that wasn't my fault, ah fuck 'im. if he want to blame me for his mistakes fine, but when I bite back it'll be his problem... any way onto the topic...
was still playing with a few ideas for the AMV over my shift, sometimes getting a little too distracted.. luckily it was at points where we were quit for a bit, so chef didn't really notice if I drifted for a few seconds... But that's not the point.. I shouldn't be doing it at all. it was the distraction that got me into big trouble last time..
I think it must just be this AMV, because of the fact I'm so into getting it finished, it's a good thing I go home today, it means I can work on it in peace and quiet (sort of ). and with the speed I'm getting it done I'll be finished by nightfall. then I just have to upload it.. oh the joy...
I'm just glad that I also have tuesday off as well, it means I can finish my case and also go to the city and get a few things, like a replacement vid card (my Geforce 4 shat itself) and the 4th beserk DVD which was released last week.... -

could hardly concentrate on my work today, not good. I have just about finished my new AMV and I was thinking about how I would finish it up while I was working..
Needless to say, I almost cut and burned myself a few times while I was at it...
And I've still got to do dinner shift tonight as well. But I should be able to concentrate better because I now have the layout in my head for what I plan to do....
But the bad part is, I have to wait until tommorow before I can do it, because I need to rip the final DVD...
But I must thank El_farlo for helping me fing the song's artist and title because I wasn't sure who made it...
now off to do other things....
