I am so glad it's friday. (or was...techinically here's it's already Saturday.)
I'm looking forward to a weekend of nothing in particular...maybe a movie or two...maybe not. who knows.
I do know that I'll be finishing that AMV this weekend. I think I've figured out the problem that I'm having with Flask and huffy so I'm going to try a few new things tomorrow on that.
I still love/hate the song....I'm pretty convinced about using it anyway despite my reservations about the lyrics. it;'s not as if anyone will be able to understand any but a few of them anyhow....the vocalist has a very distinct and different voice.
but anyway. time to kill my cat. -

Actually It's not a song block entirely. It's a whole concept that I can't get past until I make the stupid thing and get it out of the way. I've found a song for a video I'd been wanting to make...the only problem is that the lyrics aren't quite right. The song is awesome...my ears tell me YES! but my head is giving the big old BATSU!

And another thing that's been bugging me is flask. it doesn't seem to want to converty my vob's anymore and it's really pissing me off. I was testing conversions and am loving all that huffyv is. I'm trying to use that all the way through so I'll lose nothing, but flask is automatically chunking the file after it gets done. and I've watched it do it! one second I've got a 2 Gb file, and the next it 's "0 bytes" and doesn't work. What is happening? Is this a rebellion? How am I supposed to react to this? I've had meager success stopping the conversion halfway through, but that works maybe 1 in 5 times...and not at all recently. I've gotten nothing recently.

update on my amv dream on...It is available for download only through the local download link on amv.org which is working fine. I took it down from my webpage so I could post the two new ones there instead. there was a problem reported because it wasn't there (at the indirect link)...this is why! :) sorry about that! I should have put a note by the description in the posting on my site...i did deactivate the link, however! :) :)
in other news I've started a new amv project. actually, I've started two. three if you count the 3 am bastard that's sucking up about 2 gigs here and there on my hd. anyway, the first has many separate parts, and the second is just a new comedy amv. i've also started drawing again. if i have the brainpower left i might actually update my website layout sometime and post them for viewing....although i don't know why any one would want to see my crappy drawings other than to just get a good laugh. which is good in it's own right. silver lining and all, you know.

I checked and it was okay. I'm not sure what happened to cause it to go down while it was being downloaded, but it's there! :) i think maybe my server just did a hiccup or something. :)
