Machine - Great guy! I look forward to seeing him again at A-kon. Keep an eye out for our Ushicon documentary. It'll definitely be something you'll want to check out. 'Faces of Death' both shocked and delighted many ^_^
Frost - Another great guy! I'm sorry they didn't show 'Gundam Dangerzone' ^_-. The Mononoke vid was well recieved though.
Coderjoe - Very cool dude. Big thanks goes to him for helping with the AMV panel.
EK - HUGE grattitude to her for holding my pre-reg badge and getting me on the panel and showcase. She worked very hard to make sure everthing ran smoothly and still found the time to to make us feel welcome. It was a great pleasure to meet you ^_^
The video showcase was nicely handled and BIG thanks goes to Ben for putting 3 of my vids (Liquid Petals, Happy Fun Time, and Stop Mocking Me!)up despite them being in WMV format. All 3 got a very nice response and I thought 'Liquid Petals' was very well recieved. It was a terrific time had by all who attended and I'll be posting pics soon, so stay tuned... - Long road ahead... 2002-02-01 16:55:35 Well, 20 more minutes and I'll be fast tracking my way down to Austin for Ushicon. I should get there around 9pm, so I'm hoping to meet some of you guys there. If you see a Mexican dude wearing an amv.org cap that's me, so be sure to say "Hi" and "For the love of god, stop making crappy AMV's!" ^_^
- New Perfect Blue video!!!... 2002-01-31 19:48:41 My new Perfect Blue video has been uploaded and ready for your perusal. It's kind of a funny parody of Perfect Blue set to some zany Devo music. I tried to incoporate some lip synching but it didn't come out as perfectly as I would have liked (damn WMM!!!). Also, the video quality isn't DVD standard but it's still a fun vid to check out if you're in a wacky mood. It'll be my last vid with WMM (YAY Premiere!!!), so this is my fond farewell to it. Hope you enjoy and feeback is always welcome ^_^
- Finishing up... 2002-01-30 15:37:56 I put the finishing touches on my new Perfect Blue video last night. It's not the greatest quality but the song is just wacky and I thought went well with the psychotic scenes from that movie. The title is even silly, 'Stop Mocking Me!' and it's heavy on the lip synch eventhough, since I'm using WMM, it didn't come out nearly as well as I would have liked. I should be uploading it sometime tomorrow. On the con front, I'm gearing up for the 4 hour trip to Ushicon on Friday and I can't wait to meet everyone down there. I'll be unveleiling my amv.org cap there as well. Happy fun time (shameless plug) for everyone!
