http://www.randomvariable.net/index.php - Last night... 2002-05-04 08:49:08 ...was actually pretty fun. After sitting through the boredom that is customer service training all week, I was finally able to do some socializing with my co-workers outside of the business enviroment and hang out. Due to a nice company discount our director finagled with the local comic book shop, we were able to see 'Spider Man' for only 5 bucks and were let into the theater about 15 minutes before everyone else. Also, they provided lots of door prizes and grab bags. I guess working for them can be pretty sweet sometimes. Speaking of 'Spider Man', I thought it was a pretty entertaining movie and money well spent. It didn't stay entirely true to the original story but close enough to be enjoyable. The movie ended at about 9pm and I made it home in time to watch the second half of my beloved Spurs destroy the Sonics. It was great to see Tim Duncan come back and lead the team to the semi-finals after going through such a traumatic experience earlier in the week (his father passed away). Now, we get to be force feed to the Lakers and I must admit that I'm not too optimistic of our chances since our starting center (David Robinson) might not be available to play. I'll have to cross my fingers on that one. On the AMV front, I'm about 1:15 seconds into my new video although it's really not an "anime" music video. I think some people will get a kick out of it though. ^_^ Being my first video using Premiere, it's taking much longer than any project I worked on with WMM but hopefully the added quality will be worth it. Sometimes I wonder how many reviews it takes before Omni's fragile ego is saved and suicide is spared. I honestly have no idea why 'PFS!' has more opinions than 'Gimme the Beat' but you make it seem like everyone must be stupid for not giving your video more recognition. It's almost insulting to me that you think your video is soooo superior to mine or jbone's and DESERVES more reviews. If you really want more opinions on it, promote it more and do more opinion swaps (like I did) but don't just assume something is wrong with everyone else because people aren't fawning over your Ecchi vid. For the record, I think your video is technically much better than mine but...Who are you to say what people should and shouldn't enjoy? Everyone is enttitled to their opinion but I'd be lying if I said your statement didn't piss me off a little.
