Also, I'm not sure if you remember but your scathing review of my old Sailormoon video really opened my eyes and made me rethink how I made videos for the better. Your advise is stuck I still use in AMV making to this day and I really thank you for it. ^_^

My goodness, the idea was drunk talk people!! =P It really is shaping up nicely though. Big thanks to Fluxmeister for really getting things organized and taking the time to listen to all those remix tracks that would have taken me a month to download all at once. O.o He really is the head of the whole shebang now. ^_^
Now that I've had time to reflect on the greatness that was AWA, here is a synopsis of some of the people I had not already met...
Fluxmeister = Dude, you absolutely rock! Funny as hell, awesome video maker with the humblest of attitudes and helpful as can be. I really appreciated how you talked me off the ledge after the key debacle on Friday. ^_^ You are now an honorary member of "El Familia" =D
Rozard = We really made a solid addition wby adding you to RVP man. You are definitely a stand up dude and I was impressed at the way you handled yourself with the whole David Violence thing. Also, you have a nice sense of humor when it comes to being around a drunkard like me. =P Hope you can make it down to Ushi or Akon man.
David Violence = Dude, you are one funny mofo! I still gotta get a copy of that AFO doc you made since I'm sure you captured tons of con gold down there. Plus, I gotta check out the shit you talked about me and WMM. ^_~ Unfortunately, I lost the mini CD's you gave me, so I need to get ahold of those again at the next con I see you at unless you wanna mail them. =P
RYS = Man, talk about an awesome guy. He is one of the most supportive and positive people I've ever met. His punch runs were a god send to us alkies looking for a quick fix also. I really feel bad about missing his panel on Sunday since I've yet to see any of his work but I hear it's great stuff. ^_^
Tim Park = It was a great pleasure talking to you considering you are one of my AMV heroes. ^_^ Quiet and soft spoken but with lots of witty humor at his disposal, the guy is a joy to hang out with. I was really honored that he enjoyed my Kiki video as well. =D
AbsoluteDestiny = You crazy British lush!! =P Man, that absenth stuff kicked my ass after one sip. His vids tore us all a new one in the contest and I really look forward to seeing him next year challenge Hsien at Iron Chef. Just an all around great guy and I'm forever grateful for you letting me know that Quu showed my vid at his panel, it really made my day. ^_^
Joe Crossdaile = I went into AWA thinking he would be an oversized ego ready to stomp those around him...I was mistaken bigtime. The guy is funny as hell and really easy going. Honestly, I thought his "Ubernastra" vid was robbed at Iron Chef but that's mostly because I had cash riding on him. =P
Ermac = LOL! I thought this guy would be pissed at me and Carlos for sure but he was just as cool as everyone else. ^_^ The DDR king was alot of fun to hang out with at the parties on Friday and Saturday and always seemed to be in a great mood. Thanks for not hating us Big Mac. =D
Will Millberry = Totally different that what I had envisioned him being in terms of attitude. I really thought he would be a little high horsed but instead he was very laid back and fun to hang out with. His one legged kung fu battle with Ermac was priceless. =P
MTT = Now this was the group I feared the most since the whole Akon doc stuff had gotten out of hand earlier. Glad to report that there was no traces of tension at all from these guys/girls. Every one of them was nice as can be and very cordial. Good to see we could all come together IRL and have a good time despite the stuff in the past. =D
Jbone = Hahahahahaha!!!! Man, this guy was as camera shy as previously advertised. I practically had to tackle him just to get a pic or 2. =P He was sometimes aloof with us and RVP in general but the times we got around him in social settings, he loosened up and had some funny things to say. I don't hate him as much as I used to. ^_~
Vlad Pohnert = The wise elder of AMV making. ^_^ The guy really knows his stuff in terms of editing and his Transending Love video is unreal. I was very happy to be able to spend time with him on Friday and talk about AMV, cons, and just stuff in general. His advise is stuff you just have to listen and adhere to . ^_^
Nathan Benzer and Jeff Gambitt = Man, these 2 guys are like opposites of each other. Nathan is crazy as fuck when he gets sloshed, bunny ears and all. =P Awesome guy to party with and a damn fine video editor. Jeff was alot more reserved and easy going, almost the calming force in the Nightowl Productions crew. He was a great guy and I still thank him for reviewing the debacle that was Asuka's Last Stand. =P
MeriC and VegittoEX = It was really great to meet these 2 since I had been a fan of Meri's work since the old Temple of Trunks days. I remember bringing up some of her old vids in RM format and still have to this day. Mike was a really cool guy to talk to and I loved the comic on you guys's CD. =P I must review swap with him someday since he is way up on the usefulness ladder. ^_^
Senta Miller = I talked to him a bit at the part and some in the dealer room on Sunday as well. Really a nice guy and I still feel bad about not getting you a CD of our stuff to swap with. =( Next con I see you at, I definitelty owe you one man. ^_^
Nicole Barrs = Didn't get to talk to her very much but she was cool when we did hang out. I'm a big fan of her work, so it was nice to say "hello" and let her know I appreciate her work. ^_^
Jescaflowne = Man, you are a party hardy animal! =P I fear ever having to get involved in a drinking contest with your full blown alkie ass. =O Very cool girl and a great vid maker. Spectacular was very deserving of the pro award. ^_^
Paizuri = As funny in person as he is in the forums and AIM room. ^_^ I didn't really get to hang around him too much but he was very funny in the moments we did talk amongst the masses.
Lord Rae = The legend of OV hung out with us for quite a bit of time. Awesome guy and was very happy to have met him in person since he is both funny and entertaining. We need to have him with us at a few more cons. ^_^
Neogohan = LOL!!! Big Dave wouldn't let up on this poor dude but he took the jabs well and came back with some nice shots of his own. I've been a fan of his SF Alpha vid for a long time and was glad to have met him in person. Just stop dressing like a damn hobo! ^_~
StudioKZ = I didn't really get to hang out with the guy too much since we were both drinking it up in the party rooms but he seemed like a pretty cool guy. I feel bad though since I totally misplaced your CD. >_< I'll have to hit you back up at the next con for one man. ^_^
Steve Pope = I didn't really get to talk to him too much but he seemed like a pretty nice guy at the con. I really thought your Kenshin vid in Masters was pretty good and I still need to watch that CD you gave me. ^_^
Danny Wilson = Dude! You need some fucking help man! You are the worst drunk I have ever met but it's all good. =D I'm just glad I didn't get so wasted that I woke up in the con staff room with a penis drawn on my head like you did. =P Still, when sober he was a pretty cool guy and remember...no one gets left behind. ^_~
Quu and Matt Pyson = Didn't get to really hang out with them much since they were running the con and all but they seemed like pretty cool dudes. I owe both of them bigtime for showing my vids at various times throughout the con (Matt at the Expo screening and Quu at the Utena AMV showing). You guys definitely impressed me with the way you handled the contest and I'll be sure to make it back next year. ^_^
That's pretty much all the people I remember meeting while still sober enough to. If I forgot anyone, I totally apologize and only have lack of sleep and excessive drinking as my excuse. =P Of course, the people I had already known before getting to the con (Jonathan, Wonka, Julian, EK, Brett Weaver, Carlos, and Hsien) were cool as always. ^_^ - :O 2002-09-29 21:14:27 AWA!!!!!! :O Too much fun, more later...
- Gaaaahhh!! 2002-09-24 22:05:11 My new vid is looking stupider by the second. >_< I've even started using the solarize effect for god's sakes! :O I miss the old days of just straight cuts. =P Looks like me and the hype boys will be getting to AWA Friday morning and I'm looking forward to meeting up with the old A-kon group (Carlos, Jonathan, Wonka, Julian) as well as all the other creators I've talked to online but never met in person. Should be good times indeed... :O

Roger: Yeah, eps 6-9 on the 2nd disc. My favorite VA outtakes..."Come over here and Rock Me Amadeus!" and "Alright, who wants to jerk me off! *crowd cheers*" =P
DD: Lady Blue was actually pretty good in terms of story and the humor was silly enough to work. Overfiend had good plot as well but the character designs looked like old Gundam episodes. None of those chicks turned me on dammitt! =P
