I watched Spirited Away on Sunday night...woah! O_O Talk about a some unique imagery and a crazy storyline. =P The first 15 minutes were something out of a horror movie, very creepy stuff. As far as Ghibli movies go, I liked Princess Mononoke a little more but this was still a really great film.
Dallas 6 - Arizona 9!!! >_< This season is really taking a toll on me. They lose, then win, then lose, then win again which is the most frustrating way to follow a team thru the season. Quincy Carter had 4 interceptions this game and finally got what he deserved yesterday...a swift benching in favor of Chad Hutchinson. I'm not saying C-Hut will be much better but Q-Car was just ridiculous looking out there and something had to be done to keep the hard working defense still interested in playing. The offense has been the team's major downfall all season, so hopefully this will bring some much needed enthiuasasm to a unit that has been woeful all year.
On the AMV front, nothing new to report since Friday when I did a little bit of preliminary editing on my new vid. I'm up to a rough draft of 30 seconds and it seems to be shaping up ok. I showed the beta to a few people online and they gave me some very helpful hints since I don't know the first thing about making a serious dramatic video. The extension of the CSUN contest has really relieved some of the stress of trying to rush it in time (thanks Ikasu). Hopefully it won't suck too bad. =P - Gah!!! 2002-10-19 11:42:06 I started cutting clips and timelining my new video last night but it looks like I might not be able to finish it in time for the CSUN contest. >_< Still, 15 seconds in and it's looking decent I suppose. It will be my first try at a real drama video and, since I'm such a goofball, it probably won't make anyone cry but....meh. We'll see I suppose. =P BTW, everyone go check out Beowolf's vid and see uncut Mezzo and Kite in it's uncut glory. ^^

Man, I really hate that the forums got shut down just because of a few bad feelings. I spent quite a bit of time there with having a desk job and my days will go by alot slower without it. = Honestly, I've never had a problem with anyone on the forums (from General to Way Off Topic) and always found entertainment and humor in all the sections. I really think people take the stuff that's said there waaaay to seriously and have their "offended" meters wound too tight. If you go in with a sense of humor and "it's only words on a screen" modes activated, I think people would have a much easier time putting up with what goes on there. I don't recall ever having the urge to flame anyone and used the forums as a place to both meet friends with the same interest as me (pretty much everyone I met at AWA falls into this category) and just a place to kill time before I could go home and edit. =P Anyway, I've rambled enough and I truly hope Phade brings them back someday. Rememer, RVP, Hypeordermic and Mindwarp all have forums and shoutboxes should you need a place to go ^_^
