- THE BIG 27!!! 2002-11-05 14:55:15 I've officially turned the corner from "mid" to "late" 20's today and have come even closer to the dreaded 30's. =O I spent my not so precious birthday playing XBOX, PS2, and editing till 6am. The good news is I went ahead and treated myself to a few new games since I doubt I'll get much of any presents from my family. I bought NFL Fever 2K3, NBA 2K3 and a new controller since my old one was acting weird. On the AMV front, I'm pretty much done with my new video but will spend tonight fine tuning it before sending it over to CSUN. The people I've shown it to have seemed to enjoy it despite the shameless lyric synch. =P
- Well... 2002-11-03 10:24:32 Since my parents didn't end up coming down to visit me in Dallas after all, I stayed up till 4am and got up to 2:26 of my new video done. Only 1 more minute to go, so if I bust ass tonight and tomorrow I might get this thing finished after all. ^_^ It's shaping up nicely but all the shameless lyric synch will surely make some people queesy. -_- I swear once I finish this thing, I never wanna have to sit through GOTF again. Scanning over that movie footage at least 50 times has been truly a depressing experience. Speaking of depressing, Cowboys play Detroit today at 12pm and I'm preparing myself for another embaressing loss. Now that Emmitt has the rushing record, there isn't much left for him to play for. At least my beloved Spurs have started the season decently (2-1) and should contend for the NBA title this year. ^^
- -_- 2002-10-31 14:22:44 I pulled a PS2 allnighter with some buddies last night and got no work done on my new video whatsover. ;_; Also, I just found out my parents are coming to visit me this weekend, so I doubt I'll be very productive until Monday at least. Hopefully I can do an all day edit job since I'll be off and get this thing completed. This morning I went and watched the "Jackass" movie with some co-workers. Man, that was some pretty fucked up stuff. The yellow snow cone thing really made me sick. =O Overall, it was a pretty funny movie but I wouldn't pay full price again for it. Wait and rent the DVD or download that baby off of Kazaa. =P
- 1:35 and counting down... 2002-10-30 19:04:12 I actually did some work on my vid this morning and it's shaping up slowly but surely. I gotta beat that CSUN deadline!! >_< It has so much shameless lyric synch in it that I fear it won't be taken as a serious drama vid. Oh well, at least I dig the song enough to not get tired of it so far. =P I've started to make arrangements for the big move next month and I'm excited about getting broadband pretty soon and a new PC as well since I'll be saving alot of money with a new roommate. No more 2 day downloads to grab vids and Kazaa pr0n will be thoroughly sought. ^_~ It'll be hard readjusting to living with someone since I've been on my own since I got divorced back in '99. That bastard better not get on my fucking nerves! =P
