    2007-04-25 14:16:38aww that was really cute :D The opening especially, and the credits were adorable. some orphan frames in there, and one frame with subtitles (japanese I think they were) and quality could have been a little better (try compressing in avi next time?) other wise, that was fun little upbeat video and I enjoyed it.     And another thank you! I searched for a long time for the subtitle you mentioned and it took my forever to find it, you have eyes like a hawk! It's actually not a subtitle, but a little part of the end credits popping up. The scene was the last scene in an episode, so I didn't crop it far enough, but I nipped that in the bud now! ^_^ 
  • Wonderland! 2007-04-25 13:38:10 My new AMV "Haruhi in Wonderland" is up and avaliable to be downloaded.

    I worked really hard on this one in an attempt to prove I don't suck. So if you're interested in Ouran High School Host Club and want to see a crazy fun video about it, take a moment to download my vid and let me know what you think!

    The timing of this video worked out pretty well. I actually did lip synching as well, which is a lot harder than I thought it was going to be. My timing on those are pretty good I think, but it could have been better. I just couldn't tweek some anymore or my brain was going to explode!

    Also, I only used clips that are about a second long to keep the AMV moving fast enough for the song. But to me it still feels like the beginning is a little too slow, but I think I am paranoid about it now that so many people pointed it out on my other AMVs.

    Transitions are no longer a problem on this video, either! I edited the time on the fades I use so they are much quicker, so its a hard cuttish with a tiny fade look going on.

    Anywho, I think I rambled enough about it. Please download, watch, and enjoy. ^_^ 
  • Girl at Work! 2007-04-24 21:51:22 Phew!

    Serious AMV making is a lot of work. I thought the days when I made those crappy AMVs I have on here were hard.

    Now I am taking my new AMV very serisouly. I got about a minute in a half done and watched it and realized my clips are still running a little long feeling at two seconds - two and a half seconds.

    The old me would have brushed it off and just kept going to pump out the AMV and be done with it. But not this one!

    I'm starting to suspect someone might actually like this AMV, so I went back and shortened the clips - an easy fix. But then I had to adjust in new short clips in order to get my timing back on track. ~.~ What a nightmare.

    But I'm just over three minutes into my four minute AMV, so I'm hoping to be done with it tomorrow. This will mark the longest I have ever worked on an AMV! Maybe that should tell me something!

    My brain is in need of a major AMV break.

    And I probably should start that 7-8 page paper that is due on Thursday. Damn college, it is getting in the way of my AMV making.

    Yeah, I lied a lot.

    Cause I'm working on a new AMV as we speak.

    And it's to a fasterish dance song.

    And I'm sure everyone will say the clips are too slow. But I guess I don't really care. If I used only fast action clips and clips that are about a second long, I would need WAY too many clips.

    I'm too lazy for that. So I'll have to leave with my AMV is slow.

    But I have some awesome timing going on! And ever some lip synching! It's a first for me, so I'm sure someone will tell me all the nice things I am doing wrong.

    I refuse to check the "Lip synch" and "digital effects" boxes though. If I do, someone will give me like a 2 because they are not synched to the millisecond.

    Anywho, I should be finished with it by the end of the week. So if you're a rare beauty who likes my AMVs, I hope you will be impressed by how much better this one will be than my others!
