QCs for "Ways They'll Never Know"
2007-06-19 17:19:00
while i think this song goes great with the pairing, i dont think that theres enough action in deathnote to hold the music... the circle thing was kinda weird O.o but its a great concept, and i will deffinately be holding on to it

Thou shall never make another Death Note video. Too much plain talking to make another AMV that will hold my attention, let alone anyone elses I guess.
Ha, the circle effect. So far, only one person understands it. It's not just a technical wonder people, get your heads out of the effects and start getting some feeling from AMVs you watch!
But thank you QCer! I think you enjoyed it at least! You made me a happy panda that it was a postivie QC.

Impressive
You've my second most favoritest person ever! Nothing gives a confidence boost like a nice, one word, positive QC. The fact that I impressed anyone but myself with an AMV is super. Thank you for that, you made my day!

I was rather dissapointed. The eye closing black edges seemed random and poorly timed. Scene selection was boring to watch. I liked the eye effects, but I'm not sure if thats something you did or if it was in the source? Oh well... 2/5 for no subs, decent quality, and the eye effects. That's about all you had going for you.
Here, ladies and gentlemen of the ORG, is my proof that newbies and those who don't spend months on one AMV are NOT welcome at this site. If this person wasn't one of the people here who only see an AMV as a bunch of effects, transitions, and quality, I would apologize for the "dissapointment" but I will not. Had they even read the comment on my video's page, it would have been clear the closing black edges was not random. And if they looked past the technical issues, they would have understood what it was. Oh yeah, if they had seen Death Note, they would also know I added the red eye effect. Thanks for nothing.

5 stars! You Rock! And if the meanies come out, just tell them to F-off. They're lying if they say it's not good. You KNOW it's good.
Is that you Amo-chan? Thank you for all your support, you're the bestest person on this site!

I must be getting old. Or lazy.
I used to be able to it down all day and work on an AMV without wanting to do anything else.
My mind would wonder to my AMV in my classes and I would rush back to keep working on it.
Well, I worked on my current project for three hours last night and have been working on it since 10 a.m. this morning and I'm still only half way done.
And I'm sssooo tired of working on it.
I wish I still had the ambition to plow threw it an finish it in a day or two.

Opinions needed... a shocking thing... I know

I need a couple of opinions on a little technical aspect of the AMV I am working on for the moment.
I'm using the song "Break Me Shake Me" by Savage Garden and chorus goes like this:
Break me
Shake me
Hate me
Take me over
I am using transitions for this because the hard edit just looks funny since there is no strong beat.
What I have now are three different transitions, one that looks like a shaking effect, one that is like an angry tear for the "hate me" part, and then the barn down effect with the one clip over taking the other.
I'm concerned about it looking too ununified and like my AMV is going all over the place.
Is it fine the way it is with the multipule different transitions or should I stick to one transition throughout the AMV?
