So...
After finally getting everything figured out in order to set -up- my footage, I finally started editng last night. It took me forever, because this is only my 2nd vid, and my first time doing it *GASP* the -right- way. In the first amv I made, I had ripped footage from FFIV-X, compressed it to divx, burned it to a cd, and worked on it during winter break and my parents' house. BAD idea. :o I've learned my lesson never to edit compressed again. BAD Ren! B-A-D! And the results showed this past year at the Ohayocon 2003 AMV overflow. *rolls eyes*
So, I'm pretty much at day two of editing now; trying to re-feel my way through premiere was bumpy for the first 10 minutes, then the works starting coming back to me and I'm really pleased with my first rough, very rough, 30 seconds. A whole day of work for just 30 seconds...phew. And people look at me funny when I say I quit cosplay to re-start amvs. It's a trade off, I suppose. But for whatever reason, AMV making isn't nearly as stressful as trying to be a costume factory. BY HAND. c_c;
Enough of that. I have this bacon egg and cheese biscuit here...waiting for me to microwave and DEVOUR IT!!! BUAAAAHAHAHAHAAAA!!!!! I've also noticed something interesting. Someone made a comment about a previous forum icon of mine, and referred to me as a guy. I find it interesting that most AMV creators are assumed male... *ponder ponder* - Ahaha. 2003-09-07 12:54:40 Finally that stupid cable came in the mail, and I've almost finished with setting everything for editing, waahoo~
- ...why? 2003-09-03 16:50:29 The cable still hasn't come in the mail... I really want to start working on my AMV..this is torture, that I've found only to be relieved by..watching AMV's. *lives in a cave*
- smorg! 2003-09-02 12:47:19 Well, fate has granted access to my parents' computer whilst visiting for a couple weeks. I expect my crossover cable should come in today so that I network these babies... I my parents don't mind their study turning into something kinda like Lain's bedroom... c_c;
- yorg! 2003-08-13 19:42:16 This is my first entry! I am trying to get Yuki, my computer, re0suited for the creation of AMVs. Yay! Let us pray it works, so that I may make more. More videos...that hopefully do not suck. :>
