YAY Strahl has been downloaded 100 times!
That is a first for me. Sad I know, but something worth celebrating. Especially now that Spring Break is over, I need something to stop me from being depressed.
In other news, I have begun work on my next AMV (finally). I'm slipping away from my usual style of AMV's and dipping more into the realm of my capture card, and using footage previously unused (to my knowledge anyways, I'm probability wrong.), and soon I shall have my next work ready.
Though it will be a few weeks. I only just finished capturing all the clips today and I think I still have more that I may want to capture. So it’ll be out sometime in April, though I have no idea when.

Ok so now my internet will stop buggin me (I hope), its been really flakely lately, sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't, and even when it does its only for a short period of time.
So I had to have a guy come over and fix it for me. It seems to have worked but Ill wait another hour or so before Im completely sure.
Other than that life has been normal at this end, got a few interesting OPs, and began using my capture card more. For some reason I'm addicted to Starfox64 all over again, its fun as hell though. If you have never played it go buy a N64 and start playing. Or if you own a Wii it should be coming out on the virtual console if it hasn't already. -

You would be amazed at how simple flash games can cure editors block. It did for me, just an hour or so of Artillery Live and suddenly I can think again, I have to try that again sometime.
Had a bit of a Nostalgia trip earlier when I plugged my old dusty N64 into my new capture card. It does wonders to look at the old Zelda graphics make ya feel after so long. Best part about it is that I barely remember the game so its like replaying it all over again. Don't think Ill play Majora's mask anytime soon though, too many bad memories. All within the span of three days lol.
On the AMV front I'm still in the prep phase. The prep phase being gathering clips and fooling around in 3DS MAX a bit. I think that the only downside with using 3DS with STRAHL is now I need to use it with pretty much everything I make from now on. Which isn't exactly a bad thing, but it gets frustrating sometimes when I render something then find out that I got the camera angles wrong and need to spend another afternoon fixing and re-rendering it. On the bright side though the end result is great.

The replacement

I (finally) replaced my capture card today and started fiddling around with it. I honestly can't tell how the quality compares to my old one, but then again I’ve been looking at HIGH QUAL Final Fantasy Footage for the past month or so now everything is of lower quality.
Now I just need to plug a few more things, hit record, and get some footage for an Idea of mine.
