    The more I'm tired the more my english fades away... the bad thing about this is that the starting level is almost around zero, hehe.

    Today we are finally going to give a live demo of the product we have been developing (I'd better say "carving in the stone", but whatever) in the past two months. It will be good enough if the computer doesn't blow up when we start the service ¬.¬

    For the rest, my life sucks as always. They even shut down Yahoo Messenger at firewall level in the office for some security issues (go and upgrade to the last version, quick!) so Ian, Cristina... forgive me if we are not going to be in touch for the next days.

    Oh, you want to hear something funny? Me and Cristina were planning to enter a video to Shoujocon this year... Cristina was almost 80% done when a system crash wiped out everything. Isn't life beautiful?
    We are going to remake the whole video, but I doubt that they will accept it one month past the deadline -_-

    Oh well...

    Ok guys, the demo calls. See you all later.

    I always have audio hallucinations when I am very tired, I don't know why.

    Oh geez... I am not kidding, I hear the friggin' "voices"

    Maybe it's just time to go to bed... 
  • Another day like this and I'll go ballistic 2002-06-05 21:10:25 I've spent the UNBELIEVABLE amount of 5 hours in total trying to fix a very weird bug. The guy I am working with told "I am sorry: it's on your side of the code", yeah, sure, how can be in any other way >_<

    Turns out that the moron is running his NT service under the local system account... and this account doesn't have access to the printer. Nothing, nada, niente. Result: my code can't print out a single shit >_<

    Don't you love working with someone so intelligent?

    And, more than that, don't you love to be a moron too for not understanding it immediately? >_<

    Let's think about better things: today I had at least a very good soccer game. I started scoring again and this is nice... though I am still not in real shape and my ball control sucks as always.

    Oh well...

    This evening I will TRY with all the resolution I will be capable of to make the last effort in completing the AMV FAQ. Man, in these days I feel like I began 1000 things and never finished one >_< My attention level drops quickly, and I always hide myself behind the excuse that I am too busy... bah, bullshits.

    So, for everyone of you interested in this FAQ, I hope it will be online for tomorrow. There will be other tweakings in the next days, but basically the core piece of meat will be there.

    Thanks for listening to my bullshits... now I need a shower :p

  • My neck hurts... 2002-06-04 00:24:02 It's probably just the consequence of sleeping on the floor for one month right now... gah, can't wait for that damn mattress :p

    This evening I've spent the unbelievable amount of 3 and half hours with After Effects to make a 1.8 secs title sequence for my Reverse Madness remastering. But man, it was worth the time: it's nearly identical to the real Fight Club titles, eh eh.

    What?

    Geez... so how many of you think that I've wasted my time for such a little thing?

    Hmm... too many raised hands

    Oh well... at least I made pratice with AE (that program owns my soul: it's pure power with steroids added :p).

    You know what? It's strange... lately I get more satifaction from working on this kind of things (title sequences and so on) than on AMV making itself. Could I possibly have burnt myself after only 4 videos?

    Hmmm...

    I don't know, really. Lately I have a number of ideas floating around in my head, some of them actually very good, but still nothing _really_ solid. I wonder if I'll ever make a killer video like AbsoluteDestiny did with Shameless Rock Video lately.

    Bah, don't want to enter in whining mode, so I cut here :p

    Now I am off to bed... tomorrow will be a nightmare at work, sigh -_-
