Holy crap, AWA kicked major ass!! Met so many people, watched so many videos... and Cristina won an award in the pro too ^___^
Now is time to go to work (ooooooooooh shiiiiiiit), we'll write something more meaningful later.
It was great to meet all of you guys!

Whao, it already passed more than one month since my last journal entry. One month can be a lot of time... or, sometimes, just a brief spot in life.
This month flew very fast for me, actually. This is probably the first time I can sit, relax, and let the mind wander since a good while. I've been doing so many things lately but I feel like I accomplished nothing.
At work, I get craploads of shit every day.
Me and Cristina completed our DDR track in time, and this is a good thing.
I still play soccer once a week.
I probably gained a couple of pounds.
It's windy outside, and the little warmth of this room is pleasant.
It's strange how sometimes you live so intensly that you don't even notice who you are, what you are doing and why you are doing it. You just go, and go and go... pretending to be too busy to think about anything else.
Then, all of a sudden, you detach yourself from your body and watch that person (that is supposed to be YOU) doing things that you don't even care about.
I think that when this happens is when you get to know more about yourself and who you really are. Sometimes you like it, sometimes you hate it.
Some other times you take it with just resignation, because you understand that that's the way it is and there's not much that you can do.
Life isn't fair, it has never been.
If you expect something good because you behave in a good way, then you are going to be kicked low.
Geez... why I am bringing up all this crap? It has to be the weather outside and my melancholy mood of this evening.
Gotta get some rest... I'm out. -
DDR... OR... DEATH!

Yes, we are finally seeing the light of the day with our DDR track. Geez, it was really tough but also incredibly funny. We miss the last 10~15 seconds (pretty easy compared to the hell we had before :p) and then it's gonna be fixing 'n' trimming. We are pretty satisfied with about 80% of the video, so this phase won't take long.
After that we'll probably put some AE "in production" even if it is going to be mainly minor stuff. With this kind of song the 'ol "straight cuts" approach works infinitely better. We are still debating the possibility of putting text layers all around the place, but this is yet uncertain, so we'll see.
On the other end of life that isn't devoted to AMV making, this evening we are going to the cinema to watch Signs. Good movie? Bad movie? I dunno, but if it's about crop circles _I have_ to see it :p
Tomorrow will probably be go dim sum in Boston with some friends and then... hehehe.... then... ihihih.... WE WATCH SHAOLIN SOCCER ALL TOGETHER!!! MWAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!
Geez, this movie already owns me :p -

Well gambitt, so you ended up in watching Berserk, uh? BWAHAHAHAHA... now you understand the greatness of Kentaro Miura :p But let me tell you, the manga is really 1.000 times superior to the anime... in EVERYTHING </BerserkOtakuMode>
And I am happy also because now you are able to appreciate Cristina's videos about it, hehehe... oh! This is by no means an official opinion request :p
Well, I hope to see you again at AWA Jeff, that would be really funny :D

Yesterday night we watched "Shaolin Soccer"...
...man, I haven't laughed my ass off like that since a loooong time :D
If you want to see all the crazy stuff that you see in soccer anime (and even worse) then watch this movie. You will thank me for the rest of your lives :p
How can you beat a guy who jumps 10 meters in the air, kicks the ball, the ball goes on fire and then destroys the field like a tornado? Without mentioning the effects on the goalie...
...I think I am so going to watch this thing again :D
