Collection of random thoughts
2001-11-08 12:42:08
Today everything is as usual.
I look through the window, and the weather is getting colder...
I am at work, and my boss is still pissing me off...
I am at work, and this shitty project seems to be infinite...
I would like to work on my video but I don't have time...
I would like to write opinions but I don't have time...
I have to go to restroom...
I have to eat as much as I can at chinese restaurant for lunch...
I hope I will not throw up everything after lunch...
I have to try some Photoshop stuff for my next project...
I know I will never have time to do that...
I have to buy some Christmas presents...
I have to buy some stuff for dinner...
I will probably not have dinner after the lunch at chinese restaurant...
I would like to set on fire my computer...
I would like to take a shower when the fire alarm goes on...
I don't want to get fired for setting the fire alarm on...
I want a kiss, a hug and some friendly words...
I want to smile, cry and bang my head in the wall at the same time...
I am the infinitely tiny little small center of my universe...
... and yes, I definitively need some rest.

Gimme a bed.... I need to sleep!!
2001-11-06 19:45:02
Today was a quite tiring day.
I went to Microsoft Developer Day 2001 in Boston, a conference about all that fancy .NET stuff, you know... unfortunately the registration began at 7:00 AM so, to make it in time, I had to wake up at 5:00 AM.
I mean, it's not that bad... if I didn't went to bed at 2:00 AM the same night (or morning, as you wish :P)
Yesterday, instead, I played soccer as usual on monday. It was *very* rainy, but I enjoyed a lot playing under the water and in the mud... it was quite an experience!! (and I scored one of the most beautiful goals of my life :P)
Just to speak a little bit about interesting stuff, and not only crap, I just read about a fair interesting thread in the AMV ML. I mean, I felt (and still feel) how that guy who is complaining that his videos are crap. But in this kind of things there are two types of approach, in my point of view:
1) You give up everything because you feel you are not so good as others. This is the kind of approach mainly made by people who feel insicure about themselves: those who feel that they have to be one of the best or nothing.
2) Try to learn from your errors and from other successes... never give up and remember: you do this for FUN. If it becomes a burden, or something that makes you feel bad, just quit it!
I have to admit that sometimes I am tempted to throw everything to the pigs and that's it. Mainly because I have very little time lately to dedicate to AMVs... I would like to finish up the remake of a couple of older videos of mine, and I have ideas for my next crazy project. Moreover, I would like to write more opinions!! I have a bunch of videos I would like to comment, but leaving feedback is a time consuming operation for me (it takes at least 45 minutes to review a video for me... geez).
When I'll finally buy a computer things will surely go better because I will have more time... for now, I have to stick with what I have.
But nothing prevents me about thinking to new projects... MWAHAHAHAHAH!!!
Well, bothered you sufficently this night.
I jump off the window!!

Video compression problems
2001-11-03 21:55:22
Hello guys!
I recently sent to Cristina an mpeg copy of her latest Berserk video, and she told me that it sucks in video quality.
At this point I am wondering if it's her video card or mine... and what the hell is going on with the TMPEG encoder. If anyone of us had the chance to download and see the video I am talking about ("Snow" with "Tears in the rain" by Joe Satriani), could you please leave me some feedback about video quality. You can contact me at:

Thanks pals!!

9 o' clock in the morning...
2001-11-01 09:02:43
And I am just here with nothing to do... or better, I have tons of work to do but I am tireeeeed :P
Since I have nothing really interesting to say, I'll tell you a little bit about the soccer on yesterday evening.
Probably because of hallowen only five people (me included) shown up... it was lightly rainy and so we played for only 50 minutes. Geez, that sucks! And I also had another proof that my dribbling skills are something painful...
Speaking about my project, I have all stopped by now. I don't have time to work on it, and when I have some I lack inspiration.
However I'll try to do my best to complete it in less than two weeks.
Well, that's it for this time. Catch you later guys!!
