Everybody seems to be having hosting problems... EK's new website's acting weird, and Shaister just got an email from Penguin Hosting telling him they weren't accepting new accounts. That's quite crappy - how come he gets an email and I don't??? I sent them THREE emails over the last two weeks! Maybe it's because I'm a girl. Or maybe because I'm Asian. Ha! I know, it's because I'm also Hispanic. No, no, I got it... they don't like Bjork fans! Aaargh! Dastardly bastards! I'm so discriminated against!
Anyway, I don't think I'd want to sign up with a hosting service that totally and absolutely ignores your emails. Can you imagine trying to get support?
Sigh... it now looks like I may have to spend lots of money just to get some webspace, and even then, host a video at a time. It's not fair!

Bahahhahaha! I have just copied my entire Nausicaa video project onto my sister's computer! That means I can edit my Nausicaa video from tomorrow!
Feeling really happy tonight. Had two beers, which is enough to make me feel all happy and buzzy. Not drunk, but just grinny and prone to typos, so forgive me if you find any.
Read a couple of journal entries, but couldn't make sense of them. Too tired and too buzzed out on the Carlsberg (mmmm). Will read them tomorrow.

Had a really interesting day though. Will talk about it tomorrow.

It's 1.30 am and I'm at my boyfriend's place editing a wedding video.
Anyway, congrats to Poolfan who just finished a Perfect Blue AMV. I haven't looked at it yet, but once I get my computer working again I definitely will!
By the way, good news on my end... I checked the harddrive from my NLE system and it turns out that my Nausicaa project is still in there! Yaaay! I originally thought my harddisk had contracted a virus, and that I'd lost all the hard work I'd done on my vid (all 3 seconds of it). I've never been so happy to suspect my motherboard is shot.
Hm... but it still doesn't explain how ALL my messages in Outlook Express inbox just disappeared. I suspect it may have something to do with some setting that tells Outlook Express to empty the inbox when it gets too full. And worse, it looks like I can't retrieve those lost messages. I'm mightly pissed, but what can I do?
I just listened to some Cowboy Bebop songs my boyfriend had on his computer... fantastic stuff. Yoko Kanno is so talented! I'm particularly enamoured with a track called Spy, and have decided to use it for a video project I'm doing that will feature a friend and my sister in a Charlie's Angels parody/spoof. Shooting will probably take place next month because I'm so busy these days. I just hope it will turn out as funny on video as it does in my head.
