I suddenly feel the need to label all my stuff in the pantry with my name. I think it's because I know I'm going to be very productive (work-wise) tonight. Don't ask me how the two relate. It's just something I know.

My dorm mate found a weird-shaped white carrot at the Asian grocer the other day. I don't know if that's what people call the vegetable - I only know it by the name that the Singaporeans identify it. Anyway, this humble if bizarrely-shaped turnip thing has inspired my photographer neighbour to find his photography mojo again.

He spent much of the week studying that vegetable from various angles. It was perfectly innocent, but it just looked so perverse.

I'm in pai-ai-ai-ain.
Gum over my wisdom tooth is chafing again. The worst thing is having to thoroughly brush it despite the agony so that infection doesn't set in. I'm just terrified that one day I'm going to be spitting out chunks of putrified gum along with the toothpaste froth...
Yurk. Need some antiseptic mouthwash.
This morning I woke to the ecstacy of finding that after TWO WEEKS Seisouhen 2 has FINALLY been completely downloaded. But I looked in the uploads section and saw that people had been downloading iot from my computer over the night. Aaargh!
I usually share all my files, because it's only right, but with this stupid 3GB download cap, I can't afford to. All transfers are factored in, be they uploads or downloads.
Ah well. I have about 20 MBs for the rest of the month. I'm sure that it'll JUST be enough for basic email. The moment I think it's going to go over the limit, I'm going to unplug my cable. My ISP charges 18 cents per MB if you go over the cap. -

Seems like everybody is talking about Ice Age. It must be one of those movies that create a community out of the people who have seen it, kinda like Monty Python. They speak in movie quotes, cackle over obscure inside jokes and classify people in groups of have-seens and haven't-seens.
The world has turned into a frightening and incomprehensible place. I no longer feel I can relate to the post Ice Age world. I NEED to access this common popular culture reference. I need to watch Ice Age!
Today was the hottest day in Mebourne I have EVER experienced. Just walking down the street drained all my energy. I was so lethargic, tired and grouchy. What the hell? It's supposed to be AUTUMN, and here I was feeling like Shishio in his final battle. FWOOSH!
A friend of mine from Singapore sent me a really impressive bit of art... he drew a picture of me (based on a photo), messed with it in Photoshop, and made me look wonderfully ethereal. Ooh, I love it so much!
Actually he did the picture to assuage some of the agony of a long overdue project. He asked me to model for a Delirium inspired photoshoot while I was in Singapore but unfortuately I was too busy. I did try to make it one day, but it RAINED. I felt terrible about delaying his project, and advised him to look for someone else. But he said he'd wait for me to get back to do it.
I feel guilty, and yet my raging narcissism is appeased. I am a horrible person. :)

Went to the supermarket today, and while looking at some tupperware, I saw one that contained some yellowish fluid that looked decidedly... organic. There was even a hair caught between the lid and the container. Urg. I didn't want to imagine what it was. I just tried to stay as far away from it as possible. *shudder*
