  • too much double time 2004-05-19 20:25:33 damnit... i got too much stuff to do and none of it really needs to be done at this time

    i've finally decided on a title for my blood video, i'm gonna call it Saturated, i like those simple none-wordy titles, i think Fluxmeister's titles is what got me into titling like that... anyway

    Saturated is pretty simple, what are you when ur fed up with sumtin? ur saturated with it, so Saya from Blood is saturated with everyone's bullshit and she goes super berserk on people's ARSES!!... well only on the enemy, but berserkness none the less ^_^

    but the girl friend (notice two words, not one... it's nothing romantic) that i showed the video to decided she'd hire me to make a video for her! i was like [shock] and then like [...sweeet]

    she's deciding on the song, but since she's never been into anime, i'll be deciding on the anime... and it'll probably be sumtin i don't already have, so i'll have to buy the anime, but she insisted on helping with funds... but i kinda feel like i should be gentlemanlike and not accept her financial assistance, she's a close friend afterall, and my skillz i wouldn't consider... hireable... not yet anyway

    so first i need to wait for ppl to give me some feedback on my Saturated preview that i made, then i can finish fine-tuning Saturated, release it, then i'll immediately start working on this girl's video

    ... good thing i'm not taking summer courses... although this other girl i'm really into told me to join her english course 0_0... i'm at an odds here, i need to find the galactic layline and find my answers
    (just finished watching Outlaw Star... good anime imo)
     
  • stupid beautiful kanji! 2004-05-11 09:21:28 heh heh, well my blood video (title pending) is still NOT released, first of all, i haven't tweaked, and if you don't tweak, what good are ya'? ;)

    besides that, i still have to create bumpers... i don't know how to do that with premiere, i'm either gonna see if i can find out how OR i guess i could just work with what i'm familiar with...lol, WMM (windows movie maker) i know i can make the bumpers in WMM and then just import that to premiere and stick 'em on the timeline... but i might not have to go through that route... HOPEFULLY!! [bites nails... finger nails, not the editor(nailz)]

    since Tab was gracious enough to convert my beta into .rm for me, i've been able to share what i've done so far with friends =) and the feedback has been awesome, considering that the last video i made... well released was Du Hast (1 of 2 broly videos... i oooooze originality right? hehe) i'm willing to bet that this is probably the biggest jump in editor skillz EVA!!... maybe not, but i bet i'm close, i guess it's pretty likely that there might have been other editors that made crap, then made sumtin decent... maybe even GREATNESS!! MUAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!....pleez excuse the laugh..

    OOOH YEAH.. i should probably address the 'kanji' statement in the subject... well since my studio name is Shin Kanji (new artform) i'm gonna use Kanji as the intro to my videos that spell out the name of the video... in kanji, heh heh, but it's expensive as hell to customize kanji, so i gotta find a... uh.. FREE! way to get kanji for my videos...yup

    i even showed the video to this one girl from work that's never been into AMVs but i was telling her about my hobby and she wanted to see my work and she LIKED the video... granted she likes good movies and artsy stuff, so she had a good enough background to appreciate the effort that goes into sumtin like this, but it still felt good none-the-less, every editor loves to be praised... as a god... A GOD!!!!... uh..i'm done now

    (btw, i meant minor god... nothing high up or anything, like sumtin japanese =0 i didn't mean it to sound harsh, it's just that a god isn't such a big deal to the japanese, almost anything can be a god... so i'm not bashing... okay, i'm sure no one took it that far, but just in case)
     
  • video is 99% done 2004-05-06 17:41:09 i just finished editing my blood the last vampire video... at least i hope so, i guess there's always a chance for tweaking

    but it's pretty much done

    let the re-encoding begin ='(

    oh yeah.. still gotta make bumpers and remove a few subs, but Nandez said he can help with the re-moval of the subs, he has his own little way of removing them.... oddly enough even after you save the video 0_0

    also gotta think of a title

    first they don't let me log onto the forums here, and then when i find that there's a little trick to doing it where you can log on repeatedly and quickly paste ur post and have it enter in the forums, THERE'S NO WAY FOR ME TO PREVIEW SO I MESSED UP TWO QUOTES TODAY!! AHHHHHHHH!!!!!

    i'm sure no one cared really that you could see the code for the quotes instead of the quotes themselves, but IT'S STUPID!! NOT PROFESSIONAL!! MUNDANE!!! DID I EVEN SPELL THAT RIGHT?!¿!?!¿!?! I HATE THE LITTLE THINGS IN LIFE THAT KILL!!!... but i like the video ^_<

  • Journal Abuse -_- 2004-04-29 11:52:10 poor journal, it seems that everytime someone tells you something, someone else has to read it and take it either the wrong way, or out of proportion

    i guess before this cause any kind of confusion, i should explain

    back in the day, nandez said some things that people didn't like (mainly flamage between ari/him/me) then flint wrote his thoughts down in his journal, then Nandez after he'd already cooled down read the journal and then fired off another journal entry in retaliation

    ...i think it's too much, i don't think flint has to say anything to nandez or confront him in any way, that's why the journal exists, to vent

    and nandez, you got mad at flint for bashing you in his journal, but then you turned around and did the same thing... i think you should take journal entrys with a grain of salt, they're mainly spontaneous thoughts that people need to get out in the open

    i'm not saying you shouldn't bash people in your journal, it's YOUR journal, bash whomever you want, but don't get mad at other people when they do the same

    you gotta admit, when you started bashing Ari, did you really expect for everyone to be cooool with it?
