  • PAINTBALLING HURTZZZ!!! (if you're a wuss) 2004-04-26 11:52:13 yesterday (sunday the 25th of april 2004, for the time-keeping impaired)
    i went paintballing at some place with a lot of kule areas to play in... outdoor areas anyways.
    there were about 14 ppl to start with, then 2 later joined, twas truely good times all around, especially at the end

    we started off early, met up around 8 am, we stayed til we ran out of balls (PAINTBALLS!!) and the place closed at 4 pm, so needless to say, we'll be feeling the effects of the day for a while, i got about 3 or 4 good bruises, or whatever you call them, on my body, most of which were from the last game we played

    when the day is about to end, you don't wanna have left over balls that you can't get ur money back for, so you do a little thing called 'Speed-ball with God-mode rules', basically, it's a stage with no trees, just a bunch of small plastic obstacles in a small fenced off area, you shoot everyone involved until either they give up or you run out of balls and have to surrender yourself

    since we had a large group, we got special deals, so it wasn't as expensive as it normally is, i only spent roughly 60 bucks, so i'll have to invite more of my money-lacking friends the next time we go

    i'm hungry now, plus i have class in 5 minutes, so c'ya round (..why did i say 'c'ya round' to my journal..?! 0_0)
     
  • 30 seconds my ass 2004-04-23 01:33:07 i said i have roughly 30 seconds left to edit, but even that is a lie, a video isn't done until you've gone through it and made sure that it reflects ur skill up to that point, so the way i see it (now) i still have as much to edit as i did when i first opened premeire

    but i have roughly 30 seconds of BLANK spots in the video that i've still yet to edit, it's blood... it's extremely shot... so it's a challenge to think of scenes that won't be repetative to use in a video with a song as long as Boiler

    at first i really just chose the song because it was there and Fluxmeister made a Blood video using Korn, a band that is close to Limp Bizkit, so i thought that my video would be a bit easier to make if i guided myself on Fluxy's... but i only watched his video once, a long time ago, so it's not really that helpeful except for the fact that i know it's possible to make an entertaining video using Blood: the last vampire

    honestly, it's better that i don't have Fluxy's video to refer to, if i wanna make my own style, i can't just copy the existing creator's style and call it my own, that's stupid

    if when i'm done people DO start comparing how my video played to other videos (whether great or shitty), then i want that comparison to be completely coincidental, and even more so, they say that the real truths in life are universal, so if there's honestly a true way to edit, eventually everyone will edit the same and we'll all be happy little copies of each other cranking out great video after great video... the only difference in editor will be apparent in his/her song/anime choice and bumpers (intro/outro)

    that being said, i'm not promising anything about when my Blood video is going to come out, it comes out when it comes out, and not a second sooner or a second later

    btw... i PWNED Nandez in our argument ^_^... just saying that to piss him off since he said he got the best of me, i saved the MSN conversation as a memory, heh heh

    but things go so far until you start instant messaging

    basically we agreed that the world is too complicated to just make statements that don't have any proof

    everything is a matter of perspective and we all have our own beliefs about things

    i'll still watch AMVs to see whether they're good of not despite the concept

    and i'm sure that Nandez will still avoid those videos and flame me for watching them, lol

    but whatever, that's what makes life interesting right?

    btw, got like 30 seconds left to edit on my Blood video, then i can release it! ^_<  
  • wow, the bum who became a prick 2004-04-22 09:27:21 well, i made a journal entry commenting on someone else's opinion of Yaoi videos and the world turns upside down!

    well NANDEZ!!!, in MY journal entry, i NEVER said ur NAME, so there was no way that people would say anything about you, and i NEVER gave Arigatomyna a link to my journal so she could read it, if she DID read my journal, she either found it herself or someone ELSE gave her the link, ever think of that?

    well you can cry all day about how you hate Yaoi, but tell me why that means that her non-yaoi videos should get deleted too? plus, i never said that it's great and wonderful and that we should ALL go out and make yaoi videos about yaoi relationships that don't exist, a lot of her vids are just FAKE yaoi, but if she already put the effort into making the video, then it shows a LOT of creativity when she can make a relationship appear out of nowhere, maybe you're just jealous of her Nandez

    and enjoying well created AMVs that contain Yaoi does NOT automatically make me gay einstein, if anything, i've always heard that the real gay ones are the ones that try really hard to hide it, so if you keep making little kid comments about gays and straight people being gay, i'll have no option but to assume that you're just trying really hard to stay in the closet

    so CHILL THE FUCK OUT, I WAS JUST VOICING MY OPINION ON THE SUBJECT AND I NEVER INCLUDED ANY OF UR PERSONAL INFORMATION SO THAT YOU WOULDN'T GET ANY HEAT FROM IT, BUT YOU OBVIOUSLY DIDN'T APPRECIATE THAT, DID YOU?!!
