  • kon... 2006-02-18 15:37:02 I just discovered Doraemon. Something about this little dude is infectious no? Anyway, I made another order on jbox, (I had leftover Christmas return money. I don't think anyone could figure out what sizes I wear...lol) and I got 3 soup bowls, a sushi yunomi, vol. 1-3 bilingual (Sp?) Doraemon comics, Once Upon A Time In Ghostly Japan, Daruma, Unazukin, basically I went nuts!
     
  • quaa... 2006-02-04 00:40:12 I got my Bento box last Friday. I've had three meals out of it. I haven't found a shabu-shabu pot though...ugg, back to ebay. That's where I found Nobuta Wo Produce too.

    You know there are some really wicked blogs out there, I wish I had the HTML knowledge to make one. But I like this one quite a bit.

    gomen, I finally figured out how to type in hiragana. I'm gonna make a big assumption you guys know enough Japanese to read that, if not well tough...not!

    I have discovered the absolutely magnificent world of J-dorama. So far I've seen Nobuta Wo Produce (kon! I don't get it either), Gokusen 2 (up to episode 9), and Stand Up.
    In my last post did I mention I ordered a bento box? No? Alright then, let me explain. I ordered a bento box from jbox. It's red with the maneki neko on it.
    I also got a new book called Quick and Easy Favorite Japanese Dishes, now I have to find a shabu-shabu pot. I guess that's all I got tonight.

    Anyway, I've really missed my ibm.

    Ya know what the best thing about being in college is?
    Longer vacations. Yup. That's right. Who needs higher education?
    So I've had plenty of time to workout. I haven't done any exercise today.
    Too damn hectic. That's the part I don't like about Christmas-or any holiday for that matter. I did rollerblade, that's how I get around town.
    With all this free time I did watch a movie, Infection. That was wicked.
    I've gotta get that movie. Premonition too.
    There are still two packages I need to wrap, but I haven't gotten off my ass to do it. It would be just like me to put it off until Christmas Eve.
    The Grinch is on ABC family (the live-action with Jim Carrey).

    I made my first Japanese home-cooked meal. I generously shared with the friend who gave me the book. "Your presentation's great!"
    We both thought it was great. The recipe was Country Power Breakfast, or Miso Soup with boiled eggs, scallions, grape tomatoes, mixed veggies, bite-sized squares of tofu, all on a bed of rice.
    The italics in the last post didn't work, sorry 'bout that. Atleast you got the idea.
