In a matter of a day, I have managed to do on Vegas what it took me almost a year to learn on WMM.
If you've seen Chronicles of Sakura, I'm basically doing that already, and the program doesn't crash on me like WMM did. I am really going to ditch WMM permanently and just edit in Vegas for now on. Except if there's another Godix MEP like thing around.....

I wanna start a WTF MEP after I'm done with my Loli MEP. But the final format will now be avi now that I have Vegas. Why didn't I get Vegas before? It's really easy to use, unlike Premiere >(
I'm serious, I read the guides on Premiere and everything but it was too damn hard. Even WITH the guides I couldn't figure it out. But Vegas is a LOT easier for me and I will be able to do what I've been wanting to do with AMV's for like....EVER!!!!
Ayanefan-I would do a switch if I were you :P I already find it a lot easier and maybe you will too.
I just hope that there isn't someone else doing a WTF MEP when I start it. There's already another type of Loli thing out there, so I don't want to get that again....

I finally got Vegas up and I'm reading the guides to maybe make something with this. But yay no more Windows Movie Maker!!!!! Hello Vegas. I'm going up in the world *sniff sniff* Yes, I know, beautiful....especially for me.
But at least I'm not one of those people ignore the guides then is like whaaaaa help me >( Maybe if you try READING THE GUIDES then people will help you.
Reading Zarxrax's guide to After Effects, I was actually able to do a 'shatter' effect with a YGO clip that I was working with. I know it sometimes depends on the person who writes the guides but on the most part they are very helpful.
But if for some odd reason I get stuck, I'll THEN ask Kikai or Katie for some help. But it seems pretty straightforward at the moment.
