I'm thinking in my vid if worst comes to worst I'll just do 'blinks' on those parts instead of having footage look like it's cut up. Because it's looking really good so far
and the best part is....no annoying divx logo! :P
but in some bits the quality kinda falters. I ripped the Final Judgment Episode for my AMV and I ordered the DVD again just in case but it's taking a hell of a time getting here. Oh well....I'll just work with the footage I have even though it's not as good as my REAL Yu-Gi-Oh! footage.
I am definitely making another YGO vid after my CCS vid. It's Pharaoh of the Opera because it's footage of the hot and sexy Pharaoh Atemu done to the techno version of Phantom of the Opera, but that's another project for another time. Still, you won't believe how hard it is to find a GOOD YGO AMV >(

Anyway, it really does look like good work, but I'm still so new to Vegas and I have a feeling I could do something more with it, but I can't figure it out. I'll figure it out eventually, but I have a weird feeling that I should know how to do this by now. So it's very frustrating for me. But maybe it's just my own perfection complex that I have every know and then. Good thing I'm too lazy most of the time or it could be one of those disorders :P
Yeah, but it's also a challenge just using the final judgement episode and not really any other episode of CCS.
But that's why the final version will be called The Final Judgement and I plan to have it up on the org in about a week.
I've done 11 betas just to check out my progress and I find that it's very helpful to me so I can see what I need to fix or what I should keep. I initially changed one thing and then I saw that what I had before worked better and stuff like that.
But at least when you play the video back in Vegas it doesn't cause the whole program to crash like WMM used to do. I really don't miss the crashing every ten seconds or I have to control alt delete the program because it has an error and needs to close but it won't close. And then when you're saving it crashes in the middle of it.
I like rendering a lot better even if it does take longer. But at least I can go on and do something else while it's rendering.
Good times.....
But I'll post something else if it occurs to me.....maybe....but only one other thing for today.
But otherwise....AWA is coming up. I'll have to wait until next year to go unfortunately :( I'm also going to Anime Expo next year too, and I know that's guareenteed since it's near me.

wow...I didn't even write anything yesterday o.0 I just hope no one thought that I died or something 0.0
But anyways, I am very satsified with the progress on my new AMV, but I just hit a new barrier in my vid. I want to have one clip split into three to that each part plays on beat, but the guide doesn't explain how to do it. I hope that Katie or Kikai can answer my question.
I've complete about a minute of the AMV so far....
But yeah, stuff.
I had a random thought about U-U too, I wonder where he/she went? Well I think U-U will be happy that I switched programs (he/she is one of the many that suggested this switch) and maybe U-U will enjoy the new AMV I'm working on
U-U did say that the magical girl animes were my calling and I'm working on a CCS video with Yue in it. But it proves to be a bit challenging since I am only using one episode
The challenge is to not replay scences, or if you do, do it in a creative way. It's really hard to do with one episode and hard not to give too much of this one episode away.
But if I can figure out how to split the clips then I will be happy. and I bet U-U will have a very happy viewing experience.

I'm putting the little note by the top of the journal so I can keep track of my entries so I don't go over 3 a day. That sucks for me, I'm already on two. Can't they just make it 5?
But anyway, I'm about 20 seconds into my new AMV. I can tell you this, it's so much easier to time beats in Vegas, and do the 'blink' effect with the white bitamp image than it is in WMM. In WMM I just used the fade out to white crappy effect to make it blink, but this way is strangely easier but WMM was always a jerk and wouldn't let me slide >P
Fuck WMM....I'm never going back to it again.
I can cut out my subs a lot easier to instead of relying on VDub to do it. I can also change letterbox to full screen without losing quality. And I turned off that damn Divx logo so my new video won't be tainted with that crap. Although I spotted that logo in even good AMV's like Euphoria. You think that he could turn it off....
When I had WMM I didn't really care, but now I do.
I was also able to do a basic overlay and I love editing with Vegas. I can even preview what I've been doing whereas in WMM I would have to wait until I was done to see how it came out. That would explain why what I have been doing before was crap.
But yeah, what I have so far I am actually satsified with whereas in WMM I would be thinking God I could do better than this. And I proved that I am right, and I hope that I can accomplish more with it.
Katie's gonna beta me, so if I miss something that could make what I'm doing better, she can probably spot it since she's been using Vegas longer than me and has written a very helpful picture guide that tells you exactly what to do and when to do it. Too bad her guide's on jubby's page....it was so helpful
Hmm....yeah, I think that's about it for now. I'm really going to only post updates like this for my own personal thoughts and so I can concentrate on making a very good AMV....the kind I have been dying to make for almost a year.
I LOVE VEGAS....I think it has to be the best program....ever....
Premiere was too confusing, sorry. Plus I can do similiar things in Vegas if I properly utilize Photoshop to go along with it. Good times.

I just found out that my little tiny college was #22 on the US Weekly's Best College list.
That's weird when nobody really knows about it....or really even cares about it. It's just a little college right next to USC. Yeah, people don't want to go here when they could go there, but I got a full ride, and USC only gave me half. >(
But I didn't see USC on the list :P Nor any of the UC's that are supposed to be the best colleges in California. Phsh, yeah right......
If there were any good, they would've made the list instead of my practically unknown college. So USC and thing are really just a bunch of crap that is only good for football. Like football is REALLY going to help you in the REAL world. You have to know someone who knows someone who knows someone
And even still, if you get injured or you can't conform, you're out of a job and then what do you do for the rest of your life?
At least my college is for doctors and nurses. I'm studying to be a doctor because that can help you in real life and real money. The world is not a pipedream. You just can't make it as a football player most of the time or some other job like performer or author. You really can't make money to live off of a dream. You have to have real goals in life of your going to end up living in a cardboard box.
So yeah, I'm glad I picked the college I'm at.
