Well I finally got bored of editing my Final Judgement AMV OVER AND OVER so I'm going to upload it today. I clean up a lot of the sync issues, but don't really care for fixing the quality.
And thank Katie for not only beta testing me once...but twice o.0 She probably would do it a third time, but I'm bored of it now. I just want to upload it and get it behind me.
The Pharaoh of the Opera is looking so much better than Final Judgement, especially quality wise and the quality is a bit iffy in areas, some areas it's really great. Like when it focuses on the Shennen Puzzle,it's very clear and easy on my eyes.
I love some of the syncs to like on the 'that voice which calls to me and speaks my name' I have the scene of Atemu's name in Egyptian on the stone cartouche. I think I'm just better with YGO than with CCS o.0
Or maybe I'm still trying to furfil my desire to make a GOOD YGO vid. Unfortunately the quality's the only slight issue. But it IS better than 95% of the YGO footage on the org :/ That's great and all but with Vegas you can get HD for all they care, so I really want better quality than that.
But then again, the Final Judgement was my first time REALLY working with Vegas, so obviously anything else that I do is going to look a lot better. But I WILL upload it today and you can tell me what you think.
I'm not sure if I'll do one on one for FJ (Final Judgement) but I will do it most probably for POTO (Pharaoh of the Opera)
It's really weird how I'm making opera work with YGO though if you think about it, but if you listen to the lyrics it honestly does fit Atemu since he's a ghost/phantom/spirit with a bit of a dark side (refering to the Doma Saga) but it's weird how a major shounen anime like YGO can work with that type of song, even if it is the techno remix

But when I get to the part where the lady says "I am the mask you wear" I'll use Yuugi since he is the mask of Atemu and Atemu's lighter half. But I'm not even near there yet, I only have a minute done so far.

In other news, CW's Poke vid sounds interesting. When I was about 13 I was such a big Pokehead. It was kinda sad actually. I was a Poke Junkie until YGO came out actually and then I became a YGO Junkie. So watching any Poke related vids going to bring back some sweet memories of some of my better days. Ah, what I wouldn't give to be that age again....not having to worry about the things I have to worry about in my older age. Those were the days....but I cannot dwell on the past.
So I'll upload FJ, then give CW's vid a view. I really do hope he makes a Jigglypuff full AMV, I love that little puffball. Can't think of a good song for him except the one that he sings and makes people fall asleep with. And then draws graffiti on their faces XD
Hmmm....maybe something in Japanese? Maybe Jaken Pyon or something. That would fit Jigglypuff like it fit Azumanga Daioh. Actually using Jigglypuff might work better o.0 I have to give him a listen to that song....

In other news, it looks like the JJ's are back to their old habits. I bet people know when to take it easy and when to just go about their business. I told you that I would get kinda bored of JJing....look at the dropoff in my journals o.0
But at least when I DO write something...it usually has some meaning or is just a mental note.....
Mostly just a mental note to myself. So that if I forget for some weird reason....I can just read in my journal and remind myself. But now I have to shift through a whole bunch of crap to do that >( I really have to wonder how my Short Attention Span is allowing me to write these long ass journals in the first place.....?

I am thinking of joining Katie's Holiday MEP, just because I need to get out in the AMV Community more. I'm probably going to do a Channukah segment to be original (remember that I'm not actually Jewish though a LOT of a people think I am. (So maybe I am Jewish??? o.0 But I love Jesus....that doesn't make sense >( )
But I remember playing the dreidel when I was younger so I might do something to the song that you sing when you play it. I think it goes something like this:

Don't remember the rest, and that might be wrong. It's something like that. I don't remember. And each symbol on the dreidel meant something. I'm surprised Kazuki Takahashi didn't write about that game....maybe he didn't know about it? It's more about luck than anything....Jou's kind of game ^^

But anyway....random update time
Well....I'm not as busy today or this week as I was last week even with a bit of work, partially due to the fact that I don't have to take the bus this week until Friday. Yay.
I still have to take the written exam for my permit. I may do that this weekend but I'm not so sure. It WOULD kinda suck if I fail, but at least I still have two other tries at it. But that would be nice not to take the bus.
Where I live, there's crazy people on the bus or people who bring weed around and expect you to inhale it. I am super super allergic to any type of cigarette type smoke and it makes my lungs flare up and I feel like a fish outta water, but if I could drive then I don't have to worry about that. I actually already have a car, I just need to learn how to drive it.

I also want to do some fan art of a doujinshi that I wrote myself about Osiris, Obelisk, and Ra but in a human looking form (they take special potions so they can pass as people) I want to also draw them wearing the color jackets from G/X (Osiris Red, Ra Yellow, Obelisk blue so I'll look for how they look so I can draw it.
I also need to find a pic of Varon because Osiris looks a lot like him hair wise but I have no clue how to draw it. Obelisk looks like a dork because he wears glasses but he's actually very handsome (if he would take those damn glasses off XD) and Ra looks kinda feminine. But yeah, fan manga's fun.

I actually worked a bit on the Pharaoh of the Opera thing and I'm still fighting with myself whether or not to use the Pharaoh in the Black Magician armor. I think him summoning Obelisk would work better in that part because I am focusing mostly on Atemu as Pharaoh than anything else and on the part where the lady does an opera like scream have Zorc being defeated by Horuakuti the Creator of Light. That would work.
Bla bla bla....

Green Random Update 1/3

OMG everything is green again. I seriously don't say anything important.
I had to work from 3:30 to 11:00 on Friday and Saturday so when I came on the computer on Sunday Katie called me on Skype and was like OMG SHE'S ALIVE!!!! :P
Um....I didn't die o.0 I was working. And I'm not that important anyway....
When I get my footing and become the next DokiDoki, the next Zarxrax or the next Koop.....then I'll let you know whether I'm important or not. I mean, God, DokiDoki has his own award called the "I <3 DokiDoki" award! I would love a I Love DQY award or something.
But if I would get an award it would be something like "Queen of WTF" or something. Probably only because of the WTF MEP.....
I think Katie and Scoob were hyper yesterday because they were singing this half japanese/half english song I didn't even know...but the weird part was...Scoob knew more words than Katie. Hilarious. But before that Katie was singing Banana Phone, but I actually knew some of the words so I was able to sing along as well....badly I might add. I'm so bad that I would lose on the first round of American Idol!
But I was telling them that I didn't know the words to %95 of the songs and that the %5 that I DID know where songs in Hebrew o.0.
And then Shinodude got on and started a one on one with Josh. Where was this a year ago? I could've used something like this when I was actually a noob -_-'
My one year anniversary is coming up on the 11th. But like I said, I'm not important enough to have anyone care. So yeah.

I, however, finally convinced myself that I DO want to rip footage from Capsule Monsters for the Pharaoh of the Opera vid. There's a part where the lady is just singing in opera and I would love to put some Atemu in Black Magician armor in that spot. He looks so sexy in that armor *drools*
I want to buy the final season of YGO instead of using my Japanese ones so that I can get better quality...but I can't STAND the dub. I only like Atemu's voice. Anzu was an annoying bitch, and the dub made her bitchier. I didn't even think that was possible.

But anyway, I still have to give Katie the second version of the beta for the Final Judgement. I noticed that a lot of the suggestions that she gave me made the video 10x better than it already was and I heard that it kicked ass before o.0 Only problem was that I used Dark Chest of Wonders....
I avoid this with every breath of my being if I could help it, but for some reason whenever I hear Dark Chest of Wonders I think of Yue and the Last or Final Judgement (it's called both) So even though it's a fairly common song and my AMV will probably pale in comparison to others like Dark Chest of Fantasies using FF9 (THAT kicks ass.) I went ahead and made the video anyway.
If I am graded however, I definitely will not get a high score on originality even though I really only use the Final Judgement footage and Yue as my main focus, but just because it's such a common song. People might even complain that the song is overused in videos.
But at one point Katie wished that SHE was making the video because she liked the concept...so that HAS to be a good sign. If I kinda fail at it I might just hand it over to Katie and let her do the video like she wanted.
I followed all of her advice and it looks clean and professional and oh so good on my eyes. But there's one part that I think I did wrong. On the part near the end where she said do an explosion on Dark Chest of Wonders.....I think I did it wrong.
I put an explosion in that area but it looks a bit cheesy but I think I put the wrong type of explosion. Maybe I should try Yue throwing those crystals at Sakura instead of the explosion on the radio tower, but I'll see what Katie says. Because if I don't like it, I know Katie won't. :P
We'll see. well, that's my update for now. -
