Ok so this is what happened.
I decided to buy a legit copy of windows XP to fix my computer. I had the bright idea of wiping my main drive (C) and keeping whats on my newer drive(E). Seemed reasonable, huh?
So away i go and figured out how to format hard drives. I tell my computer (it isn't the brighest thing on the planet, mind you) 'Format the C drive please.' So my computer goes 'oh, delete the E drive. Okay' and then proceeded (without telling me) to wipe my nice gigantic E drive that included my almost completed AMV of Haibane Renmei. As punishment, i have now brought a ProTools recording system, and I am forcefeeding my comp huge audio processing tasks. Take that.
So anyway, I'm having another stab at my Haibane AMV idea. Should be done in a few months, cause i want to make it good (and im also planning to record a CD, go to www.broadjam.com/haibernate and watch for more news)

Greetings AMV fans!
This is my first journal entry. I'm pretty new to the whole AMV making-thing, I'v gotten into it because i was inspired by some of the cool videos I saw at Animania 2005 in Sydney, so I thought I'd try making one for myself....and after a new, bigger hard drive, a rather expensive movie editing package called Magix movie maker, I have to say I think im doing pretty well at making a AMV.
Basically I have a goal- to make some of the most kick-ass hard rock AMV's anyone will see. I have a few ideas at the moment...but for my first project I'v put my most favourite anime and a well known classic metal song together. Here's a hint- i've named the file Kirika's Epic! (Can anyone guess the song?)
Well it may take me a little while but I hope to get ASDL internet and when I do i'll premiere my first AMV!
