So it has been a long time since I last wrote something.
I was reading my blogs from a few years ago. Back then I was thoroughly over PC's and wanted badly to get a mac.
Fast forward three years. I am thoroughly over Mac's ad I badly want a new PC. Why? Maybe its just the fact that my mac has major issues (or I have major issues with my mac) but the two main problems are a) the dvd drive (which I swear has been faulty from day 1) won't read properly (including a bunch of blank CD's - the drive just spits them back out), and b) its become really slow and some things, like audio and video, are near impossible to do. Add to that an incompatibility with ProTools (my main audio software) and to fix things is going to cost me just as much as if i was to buy parts for a new PC. So I'm going with the latter.
As for AMV's, the fact that my Mac just refuses to do anything but surf the net (it even fights me on that) hasn't really given me the motivation to make some new videos. But I have decided today that I will get myself a new PC and get at least one AMV done for Manifest, which has become my annual 'must go to' event. Tradition, I think is the word.
Oh, and working casually (not casual as in...oh, nevermind) for ABC is fun. Hopefully it will become a fulltime job soon.

Wow its been a long time since I posted or even touched an AMV editor, let alone finish one. I half forgot the deadline for Manifest, but its also because i've been way too busy with uni.
I did however fix my mac awhile ago so it has both OSX and Windows XP, so I might end up making my next AMV on a much better computer (and incidentally, since then, my old PC has not been turned on at all. Maybe I should sell parts on ebay.) I am going to manifest this weekend, just on the sunday though as thats all my bank account can handle this year. I've been watching a few AMV's (both on the org and on...gasp!....youtube. I'm so sorry! Its just so convenient though!) to get me in the mood for the day and now I can't wait...and I will make another AMV soon...(I know i say that a lot...but time permiting i swear i will!)

A nice box arrive in the mail on friday...my Haruhi Limited Edition Box! Filled with some great stuff. Loving what 've seen so far of the series, too.
Now that i finally have the DVD, i'm starting to do a better version of my 'Viva La Haruhi" AMV...might even enter it into maifest.
Anyway, I got some work to do. Later...
