I survived Tetsuon Birdy Decode (1 and 2)

Taken as a whole I guess this series is all right. But I really didn't like Decode 1. It suffers from the typical intro series stigma though, such a Shenmue 1 and so on (pardon, I can't really think of any, but there are tons more), the first in a planned series tends to be annoyingly slow and boring. This is how I felt watching Decode 1.
As a single series I actually thought of it like another Tenchi in Outer Space (this has nothing to do with the stigma). I found myself longing for more scenes that take place on the earth. Most of the alien designs are incredibly stupid anyway o.0.
GAH! but again, like A2L, taken as a whole, this series is roughly as interesting. Terribly boring in the first 13 eps (and even some preposterous!!) but very good in the episodes following! I guess this is just a sign of a mediocre anime.
I saw and liked the original Tetsuan Birdy long ago. Just the idea of sharing an identity and body with someone is just very cool to me :D Plus Birdy is just like one giant boob. If those don't appeal to you I don't suggest you try these anime's. I like the old one ^_^ it's only 3 episodes and makes one kickass JCD amv! - Dentist and Jury Duty!!
