Finally read Chiika's fluffy kittens page. And wow, she's become very determined just like her sister *tear drop*. Any wonder why I centered my ayumix 2.0 amv around her sister's journal entry :P I think I made that journal entry famous for those few days lol I saw journals popping up in response to that all the time xD. Of coarse lots of ppl could read inverse' journal :x but don't burst my bubble :x. I like to live in it :P

Even back then Big Big Truck, probably the first 'victim' to ppl taking this hobby WAY too seriously :|, was asking ppl to lighten up! What does this have to do with your rant? Well very little cuz I thought it was something else but what I get from it was the org was NEVER a place for ONLY A HOBBY. SRS BIZNESS HERE ONLY PLS
Again what does this have to do with that? Well your picture of random ops just isn't true! I NEVER (OK once...) got random ops in my 9 years of existence! ONE time out of what, 2800+ days?? What you mean to say is 'what ever happened to... my youth... and my ham sammich'. What do you mean to say? nothing, you might as well say nothing cuz the org is what it is, it was what it was AND it is what it was! Heck it was what it is too! Nothing has changed.
Re no real suggestions being posted in announcements. Well I've been campaigning AGAINST this... mostly due to that picture. noobs (and vets- see ayumix) COMPLAIN about just this, it's ANNOYING. Why you would WANT such a thing I do not know. I think I've successfully convinced a few to try and keep it out of the announcement threads and just give it in qcs or *gasp* ops!! Nobody chooses the later anymore though anyway... BUT no, many don't ANNOUNCE their videos so nerds can come in and crash their ANNOUNCEMENT party. They don't do that in real life, they don't do that on the org. Usually when your announcing a video your announcing a finished product. In fact it's in the rules, when you announce a video you announce a finished product. I like announcing videos that are not my own (I get more attention that way ^_^ cuz nobody cares about me...), but regardless it is a finished product. You can't really criticize a finished product unless you expect somone to 'unfinish' it. It just makes no sense! I know when you criticize what you mean is to give them tips for their next and preceding videos. But many do not take it that way especially when you do so in public. So as to cut down on the bickering (Ayumix 2) I suggested that we all take our comments to qc and ops.
So you see, Mr. Mudkipete, there is no real reason for your rant.
I left the QC for Chiika 'you could put this video to any song to get the same effect' little did I know... that was the point lol. -

that would be me :) yup yup! in fact I've pretty much quit taking criticism at all xD You should do that too, TC. When I beta I only let ppl beta once and only ask for their initial impressions (as if their an audience just getting to see it for the first time), if they have criticism I take it as usual, but somehow it doesn't feel as harsh as they'll never get a chance to see it again to validate their criticism! lmao. I like that both as a beta tester and a developer.
Though perhaps since I make this video for a con specifically maybe that's why I think this way. Videos made to be watched over and over need more scrutiny I might guess.

Your op was boring?? I guess but it's a boring video (not criticism, it's a sentimental video put to an EXTRA slow song lol so) how fast can ppl expect it to be? I just love that somebody mentioned Radiata Stories xD that's a forgoten RPG if I ever saw one. Just loved all the Shenmue/ Anime like individual storys each character AI had. Whether great or small they ALL did their own thing. it's a little thing that's great to see! Though Square didn't make RS, TriAce (the makers of Lunar) did.
