oh ok. Well for some reason playing certain ps2 games for a long while causes my stomach to turn in knots and my eyes to bug out. not all, like I can play KH or even Grandia 3 all day... But FFX was terrible. After 5 hours I'd be clutching my chest and I'd have to go lie down. Disqaia. oh barf.
Don't know about ps3 games... hadn't played any for long enough. But for some reason the PS2 can always do that to me. It would seriously be till I accomplish it or DIE. I just can't figure out why, none of my other game systems (after a few hour) never caused any nauseousness or anything. -

A dedicated video transcoding card from Leadtek is now available based on the SpursEngine, which is basically a slimmed-down Cell processor.
Looks like it helps quite a bit with cutting down on video encoding times, and might be a viable alternative to a CPU upgrade if video encoding is the only CPU intensive thing you do with your PC. Anyone who's ever done a lot of encoding with h.264 can see where this card would come in handy, although it's a bit too expensive right now for my tastes.
