I couldn't make this playlist up, I didn't know half these ppl before today... I knew some of the songs though... no thanks to my mom :(

Last.fm must think I'm some 40-something woman cuz I been listening to my suggestions all day and, I kid you not, all day it's been NOTHING but 80's/90's lovey cheeze like peebo bryson, phyllis hyman, anita baker and a million other women of collor singin bluesy love crap. I swear I like some of that... but NINE HOURS (Or MORE!!). OK let's skip forward and I'll tell you who pops up Teddy Pendergrass, Tayler Dayne, Regina Belle, Debbie Gibson...
I SWEAR LAST.FM HAS ME STEREOTYPED AS SOME 50 YEAR OLD OVER THE HILL WIDOW!! Must've been the Billie Joel/ Elton John songs I added last night o.0
What's even more weird is my playlist is actually made up of 80% Hawaiian/ OC Remix/ Anime ST songs. I don't even listen to this crap that much!! -

I just LOVE how many popular, some of my FAVORITE songs from back in the day... are not used in amvs :x. Not sure why that is but... that used to drive me NUTS back when :x and still it does :) but now I simply accept. That most of you out there are simply nerds with no taste in music. I mean seriously. Leona Lewis?? The general thought pattern for the nerd is to find the next big thing then he overshoots it and totally misses the mark. Here's a good rule of thumb, with a few exceptions, the BETTER a song is, the more likely it's not going to be used. The typical AMV songs are Linkin Park, DDR/ Dance Club, Free use/ Indy 'I want to be special!' crap. Not that the songs used are not good, but nerds tend to disqualify that popular things CAN be good too!!
So it's pretty safe that if you want to do an amv to a popular song. It's most likely not gonna be done yet. Or if so, it's not been done with any degree of relativity at all. Mine were "Domo Arigato Mr. Robato"- now seriously. HOW OBVIOUS IS THAT??? Sure it was like 2002 when I looked but even THEN this INCREDIBLY 'DUH!' combination should have been taken!! like 20-50x!! OK it was... maybe 3x. but 2 weren't downloadable and the one that was was horribly done (and Gundam :x) so.
I've come acrossed ONE song combination that after looking to see if anybody else did it I decided not to even try. ONE in all NINE of my years on the org, ONE combination out of 40+ amvs!! Plus more ideas I hadn't gotten too yet! Seriously there's TONS of potential 'gold' out there! Even if it's done don't let that stop you.
