- Closer to God 2010-04-01 22:33:15 I look around and it all comes to me, it's like I said before April Fools is to the org what Valentines Day is to ppl with lives. On April 1st all us nerds get to run around acting kinda' crazy, akin to being like we're in love and, like God does to fools on Valentines Day, we (the rest of us) laugh at them! It's seriously the nerd version of Valentines Day where we play god :D.

heh since we all seem to be on the subject :) I was overjoyed!! (weird huh?) I got my first bit of schwag for my amv efforts in the mail today!! (I think I got a certificate from AnimeDetour way back in their first year for their WTF contest... but I may be imagining that besides it's gone now). No it's not an award lol God forbid :x. It was just some kind of invitation for 'VIP seating' to Kawaiikon's VAST. Lol. OK maybe that's just complimentary for entering lol but I feel so cool now :).
That has to do with depression cuz THAT is the highlight of my week lol. An invitation to some (heck admission to this part of the con is probly included in admission to the con itself and vip seating is probly just seats in the front row :| maybe you get some kind of 'l33t' tag :P) freebie is the high point of my month! And that's pretty pathetic lol.
Now I have to decline the RSVP or something heh :|
Oh! the highlight of last month is I got mentioned in 3 of the podcasts!! Apparently I was helpful lol. wtf for?? I have no fricken clue but... Oh well, score one for infidelity!! See stick to it long enough and it pays off -_-.
@Bethany speaking of ultimate contradictions I thought of this earlier (and promptly forgot, you know how those moments of inspiration are)... God's ultimate irony is love. No really, think about it from his standpoint. I mean watching a couple in love is often times hilarious in a very cruel sort of way.. anyway that's probly what it was. I think God made romance just so he can laugh at us :|. Not that we'd care anyway but... Brilliant isn't it?
