shhh! I'm watching my system resources baloon to WAY over 100mbs!! You ever realized that alot of the best browsers use ALOT of system resources?? ie Firefox and Opera. Of coarse that may just mean that 100mb isn't alot for a web browser... cuz I hadn't gotten to IE and the rest yet...
Oh, and I went through that uber dorky KM Player today... took the greater half of my night. Seriously, and I just did the audio (and figured out, that other than volume settings, there's really nothing that's gonna satisfy me in there... as I don't watch dvds in KM Player, or listen to music etc. so everything's gonna change when I'm not watching amvs...). I've also gotta figure out this new pvr I d/led (Media Portal, it's free) and wonder if it's really necissary to do all that in one central player. It does make sence, but I don't wanna compromise on quality. MPortal is pretty good quality, just complicated (at least for me, I'm not quite an egghead, though I'm about 95% assimulated o.0). I'da got gb_pvr or something else, but this is the only free one that will use my All-in-wonder. I could get BeyondTV... but then I'd have to pay money and... bah.
Speaking of wich, got a late christmas present, a $20 gift card to Boarders (Boreders... think about it). What is UP with all the gift cards this year?? That's $200 in gift cards I got this year, I'd GLADLY take the money. I need to pay bills people! I think I'll use this one on a book :o seriously.
Yeah, I recently went on a freeware binge, that's why I have all this renewed interest in my geek toy -_- (also I've renewed my quest to get it out the door lol... I don't think I ever will, I'll take this thing to my grave) I gots to go through my new audio player, AIMP, to see if it's all that great. But so far I highly suggest all 3 of these, KM Player (ppl know about this one), AIMP (it's winamp compatible) and Media Portal (not looked through it yet, but it looks HIGHLY configurable... if you like that sort of stuff). I acturally d/led a TON of more stuff, defragmenters, antivirus', all 3 service packs -ooh!! De Ja Veux! I coulda' swore I saw this before-, benchmarks, nlight, drivers, disk imagers... oh and Linux :o (seems only MythTV on Linux will recognize my Brooktree TV Card...).
I hadn't gone into Linux yet, finally got my guts up too -_-.
One more... nah, I wouldn't suggest getting into IP TV (free internet TV)... too much porn. And by that I mean not porn, they forward you to their stupid malware site, some even fux up your computer from right there!! Damned hackers... if only they were all just like me. Clueless.
IPTV is pretty low quality anyway, bout all I'd found are music videos (mostly old ones), old 60's cartoons, b-(or even f, if there is such a rating) movies, news channels and religious programing (basically reruns of news channels... though they have THOSE too!!). I did find a Friesian news/ music channel ;p that was AWESOME :o oh yes. I also found a channel that specializes in Profesional (MLB and Minors) baseball (... US of coarse... though a japanese feed would be kinda' sweet -_-). As you may know THAT is my christmas present to myself lol. It's basically the same content you get from mlb.com (in fact I think it IS mlb.com)... but still, it's convenient. Oh, and there's anime on that IPTV. That's bound to attract attention sometime, but... it's probly all subbed as that's about all you can get away with. I'd rather d/l my fansubs as I'm not set to a schedule. So the baseball channel is about all I'd be interested in... unless I find a porn channel that works. -

Finally saw The Lion The Witch and The Wardrobe... it's only been, what, four years. It didn't even take me that long to read the book... and I was EIGHT. Anyway that movie had the worse animation I'd seen... maybe forever. No, I seen a few movies on AMC (American Movie Classics) that I can call worse, but... I mean, I'd seen better in 5-year old COMPUTER games!! Whoever did those graphics (Disney?? FOR SHAME!!) should be fired. Listen, all this complaints all about Computer CG... I am such a dork ><. Well, the movie sucked ass too. I swear, there is childish and naive and there is just plain stupid, this is just plain stupid. Kinda' makes me glad they hadn't gone into the rest of the chronicles cuz that was a REAL embarrasement.
I spent the rest of the day reinstalling my computer... actually just downloading crap. See, I started the download to the full version of Far Cry (3 GIGS) a little too late (should have been downloading as I watched the movie...) plus I got Prince of Persia The Sands of Time (1.5gb), both are free (ad based) via fileshack and ubisoft, and XP SP3 beta (just the package at 600mbs) so... Anyway I spent the day DOWNLOADING shit. Now I'm not gonna keep 'em though! I'm gonna do this ALL again tomorrow -_-. No, I'm not, I'm gonna put it all on a hard drive, compile what I can, and install a clean copy of nlite.

it's like the EXACT same ppl are in the top 10 this morning that were there when I went to sleep! (or last I checked...) Really, you guys gotta get a life ^_^ -doesn't realize that he's probably the worse offender in this aspect...-

LOL! - -sigh- I need some good news 2007-12-26 20:07:56 I ordered a wireless usb adapter, it should be free after rebates and it does what I needed (works in Linux... that is, if it even works at all...) I'm just hoping it arives soon. In one peice.
