Anyway I'm just anticipating the release of Lost Odysee in February. I never wanted SBB in the first place. TOS2 maybe, but I don't even have a Wii nor do I want one. You poor kiddies had never played Powerstone or something?? I was talking to a kid I worked with (back in November) and I was like 'so I bet you were bummed when they announced the SBB delay (he's a tournament SSBM player)' he said 'no, not really, I'm pretty new to the scene so it gives me more time to practice'. Then I said 'I hadn't played SSBM, heard it's just like Powerstone though' he said 'Powerstone? What's that?' 'a Dreamcast game' 'oh, I find it more like Small Arms (on the XBL Arcade)' chah, kids...

One night I was flipping through the channels and landed on a show on Starz. It was a documentary on videogame movies (... or was it how the movie industry influences videogames) and it tried to answer the eternal question of why are videogames based on movies always so bad. And vica versa?? Well- they just are. Lesson learned *_*
No, they said it's cuz if you think about it, a game and a movie appeal to TOTALLY OPPOSITE (but similar) interests. Games are virtual and action packed (take a GOOD AMV), movies are more thought out and realistic (take MY AMVs ;p- basically the kind that never make it). Rarely do the two converge. They DID point to one success though, the guy that did the Mortal Kombat/ Resident Evil movies, he is a gamer who happens to direct rather than all the other wannabees. I didn't know that... but you watch the RE movies and you could TELL that director had really played those games.... I'm just waiting for them to mention a 'Jill sandwich'. I mean all this DISPITE Michelle Rodriguez lol. I swear she's such a terrible actor, and in her interviews she sounds like she hasn't got a clue. But seriously, home-girl's in a TON of video game movies.
Yeah and cons? yeah.... cons.
