I met some long words in my day (like humuhumunukunukuapua'a and kealakekua), but that has got to be the most insane sequence of them :x. Gotta respect that.
Anyways I just finished this 2006 anime and my final judgement is... meh pretty good. I actually really like it! BUT it's one of those REALLY 'technical' animes. Actually what it is is hardcore historical fiction. Take part Berzerk and add in some Risk... it's actually JUST like (and takes place in the same period as) the live action move, The Last Samurai... maybe Samurai Shamploo with a bit more of a European presence, and war.
Anyway only reason why I don't quit suggest it is cuz you have to read a bunch :/ and the subtitles only stay on for so long so... it took me a bit to figure out what was going on. I don't know if it was the brutal learning curve (they use the japanese calendar rather than the christian calendar... which is something I should expect here anyway) or the fictitious plot mixed in with voodoo/ budhist magic, but it took me half the series just to get into it! But let me tell you, once I did, I fell hard! Whoever did the music for this series deserves a medal!! They did great! Sounds alot like Madlax/ Noir music, very folklore, very magical ;p. I want this OST. -

my dvd drive can now read my backups :D and I might FINALLY be able to resume my amv making again.
Oh I doubt AMVs will ever be like they once were (simple) but meh... I'm like Krisqo and just roll with the punches. I doubt I'll ever do 20 amvs in a year again though lol... - OMG Y the f is there STILL a gateway thread?? 2009-02-04 17:45:32 That thing is NEVER gonna come out lol. I can understand not knowing your OLDER sibling, but only Bethy can not know her YOUNGER kin... I mean think about it! Your father has this WHOLE other family behind your back and you don't even know it!! lol... mymymymymymy... I mean at least if it's an OLDER sibling you wouldn't be around for his birth. Where was Bethany on this kids day of birth?? La la land apparently. -_-
