  • Constructive Criticism 2005-11-29 21:43:02 so here I am, my first journal entry, and I know I haven't been around very long, I'm still learning the site and all, so I don't have a lot of knowledge about what goes on around here...I don't even check the forums and such on a regular basis, and it's lucky if I even log onto this site every couple of days

I just uploaded my first vid about a week or so ago, and while I understand it's not the greatest AMV in the world, I can't help but think that the people I've recieved comments from so far just have nothing better to do with their time than to rip on people who maybe don't have the best technical skills in the world

I can understand constructive criticism, but when I get comments that don't have any sort of suggestions, basically just being ripped on, I just don't appreciate that. It's rude.

if either of the people who have made the comments I'm referring to are reading this, I think you really need to take a look at my video's profile.
it IS almost 3 years old, the only AMV-capable program I had to work with that my computer could handle running was Window's Moviemaker (the original one people) and my video sources weren't that great either. I fully understand it's not the world's greatest AMV, and I'm pretty sure I can handle that since even I am admitting it whole-heartedly

usually if I watch a vid that I don't like, it doesn't stay on my computer, and when I give my reviews, I leave the comments blank or I try to make some sort of HELPFUL suggestion...things like what would make it better the next time around

    but that's just my opinion...
