After working on it for almost 8 full hours (which is a lot for me, lol) I've finished "The Highwayman."
It's a visual poetry. Right now it's only going to be able to be viewed in RealMedia. I know, it sucks, doesn't it? But I have to get it to a size that will fit on tripod. -sigh- I can't wait till I get my own server. But even then you'll probably hear me saying "I must watch my file sizes..." Well, the RealMedia version SEEMS good enough. But only if you don't magnify it. Then it gets really pixely. The good news is that it's all VHD:B. The bad news is that it has a lot of repeated footage. And if there's one thing you know I hate it's repeating footage. Even when I only have so much to deal with, you know I try not to give you all repeated footage. Well, here it all is.
Ya see, the lyrics keep going "The HIghwayman came riding, riding," and I needed more pictures of Mier, his horses, and his carriage. You may think the movie has enough footage of that to make your head spin, but once you try to make an AMV... It doesn't. I also cut down the song anyway. I said I wouldn't, but I did. I cut out the intro, and the ending two verses because those were just stupid and I had no more footage anyway unless I wanted to repeat MORE. So, the AMV ended up being 7min 30 seconds long. Right now the RealMedia's encoded with Realplayer GT(6 or higher) It was encoded with RealPlayer 8, but the file size was too big. (curses)
I don't want to resort to fileplanet, because I know that when *I* see someone's stuff on Fileplanet, I go "Uh... No." and find some other AMV to watch. Of course, if I HAD to watch it for an op exchange, that's different, but still.
And I don't want to get that other hosting option that was publisized in the forum, because uploading video seems too hard. I might end up getting it anyway, though.

Ah yes.. Been to the VCA... I hope I get the best First AMV award ;)
Yeah, high hopes, I know. But it was a good AMV!(A PArt of FFIX)
And yeah, it's technically not my first EVER AMV, but it's my first one on Premiere! Hope that helps... But it's a really cool AMV! Really!

That soing I wanted to do the ALternate reality AMV to... It's 10 minutes long. Wow. I'm going to begin making it, but itll be a LONG while until it's done. And when it's done, I expect 20 votes!!! Or else I'm not letting you see it!!! So meh! :P
If you like classical music, it's good. I was thinking about shortening up the song, but the lyrics are so good... And speeding up the song would make it horrible... Thus, it's going to be a 10 minute AMV. Psh. My 5 minute one didn't seem that bad!

Wow, a lot of "good" things are happening today.
I just now realized that my "Challenges" vid is #9 on devolution's favorite AMV list. Isn't that awesome?!?!
I also listened to this one song which is so cool and no one's ever heard of it (I think) and it'd fit great to VHD:Bloodlust, but it'd KIND of be an alternate reality. So to spiff it up I'm putting is Escaflowne: The Movie, Utena: The Movie, and The Last Unicorn(if needed) as well.
It's gonna be so cool! ^-^
