I've been "walking around" the org site lately... Reading and clicking links I've never read or clicked before. :)
And in that sense, I came across "The Store".
I couldn't believe it! I mean, I can't believe people actually create such useless things. I wonder if anyone actually BUYS that stuff from the other creators? I mean, it's not like I'm critisizing them for making products-- But really, would we actually buy that stuff? I think it takes more money to maintain(sp.) that store and keep it open then the money they get from sales! I mean.... Really.... OK, enough of that. ;) I just wanted to say that..
Today is character Ed... Officially called "LEAP"(I don't remember what it stands for) and dubbed "Sleep in Tuesdays"(As Character Education comes on the first tursday of each month). I don't remember what word it was this month... I wanted to just skip the first two periods(1st period and homeroom, where LEAP takes place) but I got my period and at 5 am in the morning I was woken up by these HORRIBLE cramps. I woke up my mom to ask her what to do because they were so painful I couldn't sleep, she said nothing could help me "right now" and I was like... "What's that supposed to mean?!" Anyhow, I went downstairs and got some Aleve, and tried to swallow those. I threw them all up... Literally. ( I was naustious) I usually have that problem with non chewable pills so I tried again and after I REALLY threw up I gave up on trying to help from pills...
So I grabbed a heat pad, put it on maximum heatage, and tried to get away with that... Now, I g2g because I'm not supposed to be on the comp and my mom just got home... More later.. -

Well, the Matrix Project has only gone under slight prepre production, but has gained 4 people who've volunteered their sweat. However, the crowd of people that believes this project to be impossible forever grows. To quote Koop from AIM chat, "It'd be easier just to animate the whole thing." But WuWu's brougth up an interesting idea that I believe I'll use for the project. The Matrix will be the Anime World, while The Real World will not be animated at all, and just be left as the movie. Not only will it minimize workload, but it'll look cool. I've seen a crude example of how this works, and it's pretty smooth.
Back on the subject of AIM, mine was crapping up. When I signed on, an error popped up that said something along the lines of "Your buddy list and icon cannot be displayed right now but are not lost. Please try again later." Then, when I try to IM someone who was on my list, it says I can't because I had blocked them. So, I go to fix it, but then that error about how my buddy list and icon cannot be showed pops up again. When I asked WuWu to see if I was online on his buddy list while I was in the IM chat, he said I wasn't online... Quite odd. 0_o
On another subject, I'm sorry for not writing for a while. Lately, I've been consumed in making a new AMV, "Fear Dot Hack." It's an Anime Trailer. My first ^-^ And aside from the lip sync, I'm VERY proud of it. I am even tempted to call it my master piece.
Anyway, "Fear Dot Hack" is hosted on an ftp server by the non-Professional(Thanks!!) because it was 4 MB over Tripod's Hosting limit. I put it in a winRAR file to reduce the filesize, but that only got it to 1 MB over Tripod's limit. Good news, though. "Fear Dot Hack" is in AVI format, with the DivX 5.0.2 Pro Codec. Oh crap! ><;; I forgot ot put that in the video information! I should probably put it in.. Soon.. I bet you're wondering what exactly "Fear Dot Hack" is. No, the title does not mean "I want you to stay away from dot hack stuff 'cause they're scary things."
It is Fear Dot Com's movie trailer audio put to .hack//Liminality and .hack//SIGN.
Now, in the video info it says there's spoilers for both the anime. But there is none for SIGN. I don't know why it says there is because I only checked the "I" box in the catalog, and while editing it, it says there's no spoilers on the list. But then when I look at my profile it says there is. Weird.
Anyway, .hack//Liminality is new. You probably haven't heard of it. It's the series on the DVD that gomes with .hack//INFECTION(All these .hack names are getting confusing). INFECTION is the game. INFECTION and Liminality are part one of four. Yes, that's right. That video game you're about to pay 60 bucks for is part one... of FOUR.
Now, onto personal life.
When I first started writing this, I was watching Linkin Park from London on MTV2. Now, I've never been to a concert before, so my heart was pounding a thousand times a minute when I got the oppertunity to watch one on TV. Then, I heard them sing. They were so horribly offkey that it hurt to listen to them. Then I couldn't stop laughing at them. They were encased with more sweat than a beached whale. Seriously!
So I then turned it off and watched something else until the next show on MTV2 came on. That, Ironicly enough starred Linkin Park. There I saw all of their alternate reality Music videos. They're actually pretty good. I enjoy watching them the cool special effects. The next show was "Making of the Band" which also starred Linkin Park. I only got to see one music vid before that came on... It was "Somewhere I belong" from Linkin Pak's new album, "Meteora." I don't think it's released yet. The CD, I mean. Don't trust me, because I'm not sure.
Anyhow, despite the letdown the 2nd CD gave me, I'm going to buy this new one... If just for "Somewhere I belong." It's really good and not that rap-wannabe crap from their 2nd CD. It's catchy... Like "In The ENd" was, but not so annoying that everytime people play it you go, "Not this song AGAIN."
On a more personal but AMV related note, I have to make a Kenshin AMV. It was originally going to be a humor AMV, but now it's going to be an action one.
After being forced to watch "The best battousai fight in the series"(Which wasn't all too interesting) and seeing the sun set while it was taking place--It just screamed at me-- "Put Linkin Park's 'Papercut' to me"(This was like a few eeks a go) OK, so it really didn't scream at me. Certain lyrics of the song just played in my head. "The sun goes down/I feel the light betray me" This played in my mind while the sun was setting and the famous battousai was fighting that dude in the first DVD from "Legend of Kyoto." That pretty much ruined the whole fight for me because I was too busy concentrating on how to make the scenes sync to the "inner music" instead of enjoying the fight(Or rather, trying to. I'm not a fan of Kenshin; my friends are trying to convert me).
But on a second note, I'd really like to make a humor AMV to Kenshin. Maybe I'll do both a humor and action one. I have the songs and scenes picked out already. I am not quite sure yet, though. If the Matric Project's prepre planning doesn't take a huge hold on me, I'll do those AMVs and the ones on the survey as promised... Starting with the Invader ZIM audio series. I just need to find what animes to use.... And if it's going to be a multi-person project or not...

Going way back in this entry, the reason I couldn't see "The Making of the Band" on MTV2 is because I had bought "Undercover Brother" on that slot from PPV. Man was that movie funny!! It's like Black Austin Powers(Only it's actually funny!) Now, I know you're thinking "How can SQ think Austin Powers isn't funny?"
Well, Austin Powers is just... Stupid. It has things jokes about obvious things that are usually plays on words. Whereas "Undercover Brother" is more of a visual funniness.
While it does have its share of stupid and "That could never happen in real life" moments, it's still good, and actually has a pretty meaningful plot about racism. So go watch it now. It's really good. Critics were crazy to give Austin Powers more stars than Undercover Brother. Crazy and STUPID!
Now, you probably won't believe this when I tell you that I prewrote this. In fact, it's all prewritten. What you're reading right now was prewritten. I started writing it yesterday and now it's today. I began to prewrite it because my timelimit on the computer was up(My parents think I need a timelimit on the computer, but see it perfectly fine for me to watch TV or play video games all day without any hinderance -rolls eyes-[I have 4 hours on weekends, and 2 hours on school days. Sucks, doesn't it?]) But while I was writing, I figured I might as well write a lot so I don't have to remember it all, and not use up precious computer time to think it up.
Which brings me to last week in Mass Media. We use Casablanca AVIOs to edit stuff. It's like a computer that only has the capability to edit.
Anyway, I began the slow and sweat-filled process of making an AMV on one. It's of Sonic the Hedgehog: The Movie and All American Rejects' "Swing Swing". That was the only song even worth making an AMV to, not to mention it was one of the only CDs available that the school owned.
It started out as an action AMV, but do to lack of harddisk space, we(Dan and I) couldn't get all the footage we needed. So, when Dan was absent, I started to work my excellent story telling AMV skills(Hey, you gotta admit, my storytelling IS good, even if my editing isn't).
Thus, it was now a profile on the relationship between Sonic and Tails. I wanted to put Knuckles and Metal Sonic in there, but we ran out of harddisk spcae before we got that far in the movie.
Well, anyhow, I threw in the Mayor's daughter for random fun. SHe's like my favorite character in that movie(Besides Knuckles).
OK, So I MAY have put her in there for fun, but she DOES serve a purpose. She said she'd marry Sonic if he saved the world, so I think that's a good enough reason to put her in the AMV. Don't you?
The AMV will be on tape when it gets done(But I doubt that will happen anytime soon). I might be able to get it on the internet if someone in the class has a capture card and is willing to burn it onto a CD for me...
Well, I believe you've had enough of my ramble.... Oh wait! I've got more to say! ^^;;
Recently, Anime Jedi has taken liberty to review two of my videos without my asking. I find that cool. Not to mention WuWu and I IM eachother like we're best buds. But really we just argue about what I'm going to do with the Matrix Project(lol).
He says I should do this, or why I didn't decide to make a movie out of that, and I come back with "Well, If you care so much why don't you join the project?"
You'd think if he had enough time to pester me on IM he'd have enough time to contribute SOMETHING to the project. I guess I should be grateful, though. I never knew a noob like me could get so much attention(That's positive!).
Well, onto grades. I got $65 from good grades!! Can you believe that? I have no outside source of income and I, a freshman in Highschool, am richer than most of my hard working senior friends!(Probably because I don't buy every Kenshin DVD, lol) I have like, over $100 right now! And I just wasted 60 bucks on .hack//INFECTION!(Ok, it wasn't wasted, but you get the idea).
But that's not my point. I usually get B's and C's on my report cards. But this semester, I got all A's and one B! I even got a 100 in Mass Media! I Usually get an 88 in that!! I mean--100! Wow!
Ever since I've been Making AMVs, it's like I've gotten smarter. They should do a study on that. Like how they said if you could read middle school you were smarter then everyone else in middle school? Or like how they said if you learn a foriegn language at an early age you'd get smarter, too.
Well, man, I swear, AMV making does the smae! Really!
So, even if I somehow get worse at making AMVs, or am banned from the org, I'll continue making them, if only for my acedemic health! Cool, huh?
Well, I've practically written a book.
Now, all I want to know is how to get interviewed...
But wait! I have more to say!
You know how people critisize other people for using Windows Movie Maker? Well, MexicanJunior uses it, and no one EVER critisizes HIM! Just thought I'd mention that. Somethign to think about...
Along with this-- How is being a freshman bad? Being called "Freshman" like it's a bad thing... Along with "noob"(although that rarely happens now) really pisses me off.

Matrix Project

Yes, it's finally underway. I've set the month we're going to begin. That lucky month is October. This is after the Con season, which gives a lot of people time to finish up their projects in time to start the Matrix one. I'm accepting volunteers, now, however, for the people that want to be in the project.
On the VCA: The voting stopped yesterday, but I posted my shameless promotions today in the correct forum for once(-_-). Low and behold, when I went to nominate someone AMV today, I was like "What the?? Where'd the controls go??" And then I checked deadlines and it ended yesterday. What a bummer! It went by so fast(Or am I just slow?) I think Phade should give us a little more time to vote. I know I put in some stuff, but I was still looking on worthy AMVs...
Not to mention that someone's insulted me yet again for using the "Various Anime" tab on "Pills". Well, atleast the actually looked at the Vid info. =). I gotta give them credit for that.
Anyway, I don't blame them for flaming me for using the "various anime" tab anyway. I can understand their "pain" and fed-up-ness with n00bs.
Not to mention that I STILL can't get selecting more than one anime right to this day. >_< I've tried. REALLY! The org's gone to hating me. It on't even let me post anime that isn't a spoiler. If I only check one box, it won't add the anime. It will only add the aniem if I check BOTH boxes. So anyway, I can cope with flames about the "Various Anime" tab better than I can cope with the EVIL grasping of anime tentacles of the org.
Personal life: Dull and almost non exsistant. I have a Laws of Life essay thing I was supposed to write over the weekend that's due tomorrow. I did it while having an IM conversation with WuWu. It took three-four hours to complete(The essay, not the IM with WuWu, lol). That was the hardest essay I've ever written, and the crapppiest. Oh well. The grammer's perfect, so I'll probably get a 100 if she doesn't grade on content. ><;;
RP Life: I got an offer from Pinga to role play one of her friend's (Merci) kids. At first I was saying "nah.." but then I heard the specs of the kid. The boy's a mutt with dark angel and some other god-like mystical magical quality stuff. He could besically rule the world by winking. Seriously! He's THAT powerful! So after reading on that, I was all "Why, yes, I'll take your offer!!" So, I have yet to see if that will turn out OK. Pinga still needs to ask Merci, since Pinga didn't ask her before asking me.

A Jounral Entry Actually Worth Reading

OK, here goes.
I had watched this AMV(Animatrix: Reloaded) by WuWu(You Choose Sam, the Rest). And had myself waiting for the Matrix 2 movie to come out starring Anime characters. Well, that then excalated into a nothing spam-like post in the World's Longest Thread, in the Way Off Topic Forum, and spur of the moment caused me to do something like this:
"I had myself waiting for the Matrix movie to come out starring Kamui as Neo, but then it took me about 5 minutes to realize something. It wasn't going to happen.
UNLESS...."
And then I came up with it.
"We do an AMV sort of thing to the entire soundtrack of The Matrix! The script and everything! It'd be like the World's Longest AMV Trailer, except, it's not a trailer, but you get my point. Of course, we'd need consistency and good editing skills is a GODSEND . . ."
So I took what I had together to the suggestions forum and made a rather ugly pitch for it. I want you all to go there, read the topic, and see if it's an idea worthy of actually doing. All the info is there.
