It's been a long time since I've just sat and actually watch AMVs instead of make them. I watched one that's been on my HD for awhile, and downloaded two others. I recommend them all.
First, there's Princess Buzzy (Andriod 18 on the org)'s "Nobdoy Loves Yuna". It's set to "Nobody Loves You" by Garbage. I know what you're thinking. FFX video = stupid and bad editing.
Watch this video and you won't only be surprised, but also mesmerized by the great editing. I mean, it's great in all standards.(And it was made with WMM!)
Then, there's the video that won "BEst First Video" at the 2003 VCA. I can't quite recall what it's called or who it's by, but I know it uses Love Hina and is hosted on nijacrackerstudios.com in the Guest AMV section. It's just plain funny...
The other video I saw, was also downloaded from whoever the leader of ninjacrackerstudios.com is. It's called "A Moments Onegai" or somehting to that effect. It uses Magic Knights Rayearth's first season, and is set to a song I can't remember right now (Maybe "Onegai") by Yoko Kanno that's off of the Macross(?) soundtrack. Anyway, that has me mesmorized. It's like manga in motion. And I'm not complimenting the art, here. It starts off really slow, but after you get past that part, it's very alluring and visually beautiful. Not to mention it also plays with your emotions too. And this is coming from someone who's never actually seen Magic Knights Rayearth.
However, the video's spoiler-rific.
I really hope you watch these videos. Preferrably the first and last one, though..
On an AMV note, the burning of the DVD never finished. I left it on at night, and when I checked it in the morning it was 83%. I left it on while I went to school, came back, and found that it had gotten to 87% and had just stopped burning. (Too hard to read, I suppose). So I'll see what I can do witht he footage I managed to get off it. I really don't feel like editing today, though. I've edited my ass off for Mass Media, and quite frankly, it's driving me nuts. I've only got about 19:30 SECONDS done out of the 60 I'm supposed to have. I'm getting more footage today, but the whole project is due at the end of tomorrow's class... >.>
So I think I'm just going to take a break for now and do... Something. Preferrably RP. BUt I don't think the room's open so I might end up doing something else... -

I'm thinking about starting to write again. One of the many careers I'm persuing is writing.. (I'm going for a lot because I like a mulittude of things, but most of them are either touch and go or one time deal stuff, so I need other jobs to "fall back" on..)
Because I went to fanfiction.net out of sheer curiousity. I made an account there when I was like 12. Remarkably, it's still there, and with just as many reviews as I had before when I actually still checked it >.>
I only actually made one fanfic, but 2 original works that I listed, and when I logged in (Thank god they go by email and not pen names, I never would have guessed mine!) it said that all my original stuff was moved to fictionpress.net which is kind of nice since now freelancers actually have a site to try and get published.(well, a site dedicated to freelancing, anyway)
So, this brought nostalgia upon me... ANd I want to start writing again. I'd prefer fanfics, because my original work is in such turmoil right now, I don't think I could find the stuff, get it all together, and rewrite it properly(since I wrote most of it in like 7th grade) without the DBZ influences without losing some of my already pretty lost sanity. >.>
Not to mention that all of my friends, once I started to persue writing, decided to copycat me and start writing all their own stuff. ANd I'm not kidding. I wrote for one week and they all started their own... Only one of them is still writing hers, which is pretty sad.. The storyline is kind of bad, but I heard she rewrote most of it.. I just don't see her that often so I can't read it. I want to, she's a good friend.
So fater I finish this Anime Trailer, I'm going to start writing/RPing for a while and take a break. Finals are coming up, anyway.
Speaking of the Anime Trailer, I've used DVD Dr. On Meg's DVD, and got it to half-way work. Just enough to rip the chapters I need with Aoshi in it with the trailer. I've essentially run out of male characters for this stupid(yet eye catching and going to be one of my best works ever) trailer!
So I was forced to rip this DVD. I'll DVD Dr. it again afterward so Meg can view it fully, but right now I'm lazy.
So anyway, I started ripping the Aoshi DVD at 5pm. It's 7:46 right now. It's only 83% done. Doesn't that suck all ass???
It's not because of how much I ripped off the DVD, I'm pretty sure that it's because of the difficulty Smart Ripper is having trying to read a severly damaged DVD. WHich I'm okay with, I guess. Afterall, if it wasn't taking this long to rip, I'd never have discovered my old fanfiction.net account, or my new and moved fictionpress.net account.
Well, since this is taking so damn long, and I essentially can't do ANYTHING on the trailer until I get this footage, I'm going to RP. I'm drawing a blank on writing, but I RP descriptively(that's with big long paragraphs.. Basically writing freestyle, I guess. It's how I get my writing practice for the day..) And maybe after that, I'll either somehow come up with a fanfic idea, or just start writing an original thing for my RP character.(Which will probably turn out to be a chapter in my currently in the works novel of my OTHER rp character... -.-)

I Met Zidane!

We( myself and a friend of mine, Kitty) were up ie hotel bthrooms looking in mirrors where AWA is going to be held last ght(or morning, depending on how you look at it). Then we come out of the bathrooms, and Zidanet from the guys'' bathroom, I guess. He asked if we needed directions around the place, we said sure, so he walked us around(It was 2am-ish). Of course Zidane's a babe magnet, and is handing out autographs and taking pictures with strange women/girls while leading us around. I say "Sure, they give HIM attention, but not to me wheni dress up as Zidane!"(I had cosplayed Zidane at Dragon*Con 2001). They both(Zidane and Kitty) Just looked at me really weirdly.
Finally, we pass a hair cutting place, and he says he has to go get his hair done for some odd meeting. So we say okay, watch him go in and then go wandering around. We come across a door with someone in it asking for our passes, and I say "That's fine-ordered my AWA Passes" flash them, and go in the door marked "AWA Pre-sale". So we go in look around, and to sum it up, it looked pretty much like a thrift store(minus the clothes), and Kitty bought a jewelry box, and I was about to buy a book(These things that had been left over from last year's AWA) when my dad came in.
He says something about how all this stuff is too expensive and I shouldn't buy it here.
And I wake up right before I can say "If I know it's going to fund AWA 9 I'll buy it no matter what price it is."
Yes, that's right. This was a dream. And an awfully weird one at that. I haven't thought about AWA for a very long time, and I haven't played Final Fantasy IX in like 2 years. So to have a dream about ngs out of nowhere is very odd >.>
anyway, I believe in dream interpretation. So in honor of that, either go to dreamdoctor.com or watch "Challenges". (Yes, "Challenges" has a dream interpretation theme..)
