  • "When I pretend" 2003-05-21 16:27:19 I've been trying to get in on the op exchange, but it seems like evryone hasn't replied to most of the people. Not to mention the only vid that I did download, I couldn't review for some odd inexplicable reason. ><;;

    I don't understand! I used to write such long opinions and now I can't even START one! >,<

  • . . . 2003-05-21 13:29:26 I'm at school again. This time I had the oppertunity to go home early, but I denied because I figured I could do everything that involved internet writing/updating/whatnot on the school computer instead of using up my computer time at home. Hehe, I'm smart! -gets hit in the head with a pan- D'oh!

    Anyway, yesterday I managed to finish the entire first layer of TTS, and am beginning the second layer.

    I really can't think of anything else to say, right now >.>

    I'm SO disappointed with the downloading of my newer videos. It's a personal thing. I worked so hard on "Secret Identity" and I've gotten about 321 hits on it, but only 22 downloads! I don't understand! ><

    Also, I think you people responded to my complaining in the AIM chat about how my "Tsukasa's Story" vid had a lower star average then "Wake me Up Inside".
    Now, WMUI gets a lower star avrg every day, while TS gets a little higher. Whether that's consequence or not, I don't know.

    The same thing with SoS and Identity. When Identity goes up, SoS goes down, Sos goes up, Identity goes down. It's weird.

    I really wonder how some people are grading things. It's like "Oh, man, it's by SQ, it has to get a low star score." compared to Koop(ok, so he IS good), where people are like "Oooo Pretty effects! 5!!"
    (I know Koop has reasons for those effects, and worked VERY hard on them, but I'm talking about normal young people who know nothing of AMVs and like the eye candy).

    Which brings me to Harry Potter(The first movie). EVERYONE liked it because they either read the book or liked eye candy. These people have no idea how to make movies so it's like "Wow! WHat a great video!" I HATED the movie. There were an infinite number of plot holes, and when I told people this they were all "You had to have read the book!" And I was like, "Reading a book shouldn't have been a prerequisite to watching this movie." And they all thought I was weird. >.>

    This goes the same with AMVs. I made the crappiest AMV ever. I mean, it was recorded off the tv with an unsteady camcorder, horrible sync, and BAM! Instantly I get a 100 on whatever project it was.
    It seriously is not right.... 
  • "The worst part of you is me" 2003-05-20 13:16:24 Well, i haven;'t written in here for a lot of reasons. The majority being school.
    Well, I'm at school now, having already taken my Mass Media final, and now having no fourth period until school's over. All the other class finals are thursday and friday. So, I'm sitting in the Media Center, wondering why I haven't gone home yet, and writing in my journal for the non-exsistant 1 hour and 45 minute class period.
    Well, here I am, and I'm going to write in this journal, damnit!

    I've been working on "The Twin Star" TTS is the unofficial name, and it might change. It's another one for the Parkject, using XTV, and X/1999. It's a character profile on Fuma. No, not Kamui. Fuma! Anywya, I've worked on it a little over 5 hours so far, and I have to tell you, it's HARD. I mean, it's all flashy like SoS, but it's so much harder because X/TV is all about Kamui. Kamui this, Kamui that. Hardly any Fuma footage!! >< I need more FUMA! Not to mention that there's hardly any character devolpment to make a profile anyway. You have Fuma, cool High school kid, best friends with Kamui. And then, *POOF* you have Kamui, Kamui's Twin star. He doesn't slowly bring himself to that point, it just magically happens! Which is why the AMV is so hard to make >.>

    So, anyhow, that's why I haven't been writing in the journal. I've been pulling my hair out trying to MAKE Fuma build up to killer-Kamui. I think i've done pretty well. >.>

    What else is there to write?
    Well, let's see.
    My summer is JAM PACKED!

    Thursday and Friday, like I said before, are finals, so I will probably study, seeing as I got bad grades on the CCT(Well, the math one, atleast).

    Friday, I have to set up one of my friends for looking after all my pets, and I have a party I'm going to, as well.

    I am leaving Sunday to go to England for two weeks. (We're also going to visit Wales).

    The day I get back, I immediately start e-Highschool. (Summer school over the computer). I'll probably be spending my time doing that, but will maybe be on IM whilst doing all the Econ and Government work(Which is what I'll be taking. I'm a freshman trying to graduate as early as possible).

    Once I'm done with that, I immediately have to take Driver's Ed(Which I'm actually looking forward to, since I have NO IDEA how to drive a car, and when my parents try and teach me I feel insanely uncomfortable).

    After that, some odd week in the remaining half of the summer, I get to live with one of my best friends(A neighbor who moved awhile back) for a whole week in the big Wang of America.

    After which, I'm free. But then, I'll probably have school.

    While I'm a sophmore in High school, I'll be taking even more e-highschool classes with no abandon. I know it will cost a lot of money, but that's what an education fund is for. After I do everything I can in both schools, I'll take up the remainder in another summer school, and, If I need more credits, I'll take two summer schools. Both e-highschool and the regular summer school.
    That way, I'll have taken all the credits I needed to have by the time I start Junior year.

    That way, when I get into Pebblebrooke(A Performing Arts school that I have auditioned and gotten into before, but had the flu so they un-accepted me) I can concentrate only on my singing, and become a good Voice Actor/Singer/Writer/Actor/editor.

    And those are my ambitions.

    Onto AMVs.
    With WuWu's help, I've successfully cleared my HD of all VOBs and projects, and kept all the huffyuvs on my computer. I now have 23.5 Gigs left on my HD instead of the mager 2.44. I'm glad ^-^

    Now I can start ripping the XTV DVDs and start the new beta for the Parkject to another song.

    BUT FIRST!

    I will make a video info page and upload SoS. I'll then announce it, and after that, I'll update the AP page.
    While the XTV DVDs are ripping (And/or SoS is uploading to the carrot) I'll make a few banners for the AMP.
    Yes, that's right. You heard it! The AMP.
    What is the AMP?
    It's the catchy new phrase I came up with today for the Anime Music Page. Yup. the AMP.
