Onto London. That's where I am right now. It's pretty cool. There are htings that are wierd, though, and if you're from Engalnd, and I diss your country, it's on pure accident and I didn't mean it. That said, here i go.
With headlines in the papper like "Finally, Legos for Girls!" and "Are you scruffy enough to pull?" makes you wonder about things. Am I in a sexist country? If not, they must be .... Damnit, Dad's making me get off because of a stupid money issue. I'll continue this later.... If my dad will let me... -

I worked a little bit on TTS and founf I am a lot farther then I thought I was with it.(That seems to be happening a lot lately) I might work on it a little today, but I'm leaving in an hour or so for a two week trip to England and Wales.
Wen I get there, I'm going to work on my sonic comic that still needs a name. I looked through it, and I saw that I had a whopping 12 panels finished compared to the 8 I thought I had done. Damn, was I surprized. The story is going along great.
Anyway, I hope to see you in two weeks. I may check my email while I'm there if I get the chance, but it's impossible for me to edit anything... -

If you don't know what I meant when I said that, you lose your right to have a life. Anyway, I meant "Shounen Jump" I guess when I thought about it, I was like "Yeah, it's comics for bishounen.. " Bam, Bishounen Jump. Heh. That'd be cool if there really was a magazine named "Boys Jump".
Anyway, the rant. It's about the banners. I've been meaning to say this for a long time.
Most of the banners are great, all of them took plenty of time to make, I'm sure. They are all very creative and artistic. However, these banners are supposed to be advertising the org. What do over 75% of them do? They promote a certain anime, a certain anime character, or just pretty pictures.
If it wasn't for that rule of the logo being on the banner, most of the banners would be pretty pictures. That's what most of them are, anyway. "Hmm, I wonder what this banner is for."-"Gee, I dunno. Maybe it's for that anime."
Again, I'm not stabbing anyone's banners, they're all very good. But the banners are supposed to be for anime + music+Videos. Not only one of those segments. And what's with the pretty pictures? You have a sunset. WHat's that got to do with AMVs?
The banenr I see right now, with the cute girl and "Smile". WHat does THAT have to do with AMVs??
this site needs more banners like "Because we love to see you smile" or "My AMV. My rules." or even "How Big is your Hard Drive". Now THOSE have to do with AMVs.
Pictures of sunsets, jungles, and "I kill. It's my job" don't promote AMVs or the org. They promote pretty pictures and anime characters. Even the "And they Wonder why we need anime" banner borders the line of having to do with AMVs or just anime.
I don't knwo why people vote for them. I mean, if I was voting for pure talent in the making of the banners, 99.9% of all the banners would be on my worthy list. But because of people's fascinations with certain anime, anime characters, and pretty pictures, over half of the banners are going in my unworthy list. They're supposed to promote the org. Nothing else.
Again, the banners are all GREATLY made-- I knwo I couldn't make any those well -- but the contest is to promote the site, not a certain anime, anime character, or pretty picture.
Everyone-- Voters, creators-- PLEASE consider this. Creators, make banners that actually promote AMVs, and not your personal favorite anime or character. Voters, PLEASE don't judge a banner on how it was made or how pretty it looks. Judge it for how well it promotes the org. Think to yourself: "Would I click this banner if I was at some other website?" also try considering this: "If I clicked a banner with a pretty picture on it, a banner that promoted a certain anime, or anime character, and was brought to the org, would I be mad or frustrated?"

Made a trip to Media Play and Petsmart(They're always next to each other, no matter where you go, it seems >.>).
At Media Play, I bought:
Linkin Park: Meteora(Said I'd buy THAT last week!)
Stupid promo $3 version of "Wizard's First Rule" by Terry Goodkind. (My old one is falling apart, I've read it so many times. They're usually around 9 bucks so I said "wha the hell" and bought the cheap promo one instead of the old... I know what the old cover looks like... -.- )
Before I go on with what I bought at Media Play, I want EVERYONE to go out and read "Wizard's First Rule". To sum it up, it's the adult version of Harry Potter. Except it came out before Harry Potter did, so... Anyway, "Wizard's First Rule" is the first book of an 8 book series. The series is called "The Sword of Truth". This is, BY FAR, the BEST series I've EVER read, and everyone I've introduced this books to have become addicted to Terry Goodkind's writing. If you don't have this series, don't hesitate and buy the first book today! (Buy the stupid promo version with the silver cover-- It's only 3 bucks. That way, if you don't like the book (Which I highly doubt will happen) it won't be much of a loss). Ah yes! When I said "Adult version of Harry Potter" I mean ADULT. All the books are ATLEAST 700 pages long (Most of them range to 800-900), and after the first book, there are a few sex scenes. Every book has MASSIVE amounts of violence, magic, and gore. One book, "Soul of the Fire" as the most gore and violence I've ever read in a book. Another book in the series, "Temple of the Wind", has the most descriptive oral sex scene ever. Despite these flaws(or perhaps they're complimentary?) this is truly the best book series to behold!
Onto the stuff I bought at Mediaplay:
Bishonen Jump (Naruto manga needs to come out in its own damn books faster!)
English-Japanese, Japanese-English Dictionary(Woo Hoo!!)
And I special ordered the 3rd episode of Blue Sub 6.
Ah! If ANYONE knows if there's a book that compiles all of the Sonic comics together, or all the Knuckles comics together(preferrably Knuckles) PLEASE tell me! I really don't want to buy ALL those little issues! HOWEVER, If you have all or most of the Sonic/Knuckles comics(Knux, again, preferrably), and want to sell them, or know someone who does, again, PLEASE CONTACT ME!!!
I am DYING for these two things.
Also any fansubs for the Sonic X series would be helpful! So far I've only gotten eps 1 and 2 subbed off Kazaa, and ep 3 raw. If anyone knows an actual fansub site, or where else I can get fansubs for Sonic X, LET ME KNOW!!

I had amphibaens before, but now I'm interested in a reptile...(I know it doesn't sound like I care that much for the Guinea Pig, and that's because I don't. In fact, I hate him. I wish I never got him. But I have him, and have to deal with it >.> Be advised that I don't starve him or anything.. I'm not cruel like that...)
